its a smaller that normal soccer ball with straps coming out of it (as in the images). comes with a hand pump everything needed to inflate it.. its easy to use an fill up. color was nice, quality looks fine. only used it once at the beach..with a 10month golden retriever.. sometimes he grabbed the straps sometimes the bit the ball to carry it back. I was thinking maybe if the ball was larger, he would try to go more for the straps since it would be more difficult to get his mouth on the ball. i would say, perhaps add a few more straps, maybe one or 2 more on the opposite side to where the longer loop is.. I say that because when its in the water, I noticed that the 'pole' where the long strap is was under water and there was a "bald spot" with no straps to grab . anyway, we'll see how it lasts, so far so good ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this a little over a yr ago. He was Itty bitty and the bell sound inside became a quick favorite. This toy has kept him engaged since he was a puppy. Well I will admit he has chewed all the straps off almost and it's seen better days, it's still inflated and intact. My dog is 55lbs and rough on most things especially toys. I'm surprised he hasn't destroyed it yet however the straps played a major role it kept him from chewing on the ball itself. It's relatively soft which makes it safer for his teeth and mouth. A hard ball could cause broken teeth, which is something I worry about a lot of dog toys are too hard and the impact can cause issues later on. All in all over a yr later it's still mostly intact, inflated, and keeping my dog engaged. I do not recommend for aggressive chewers though! ... show more

My dogs love their new ball and to my surprise it has out lasted the toys that my boyfriend got from bark box. We have a lab shepherd cross and a Border Collie. The ball is really made well and will be getting more for them.

The media could not be loaded. My pooch (Pippa) loves this ball and it's a great alternative to the large, but more easily poppable, yoga balls that she is obsessed with. The straps are a great feature, but she almost immediatly tore through them (damaging the straps does not seem to hurt the ball). She has punctured through the outer soft shell, but the ball remained inflated. It is light enough for her to pull around and for me to throw, but heavier than a yoga/Swiss ball, so she can't head it (soccer style) and there is minimal bounce. For size reference, she is 45lbs. For cuteness reference, she is very soft, loves kisses and tummy rubs and answers to Pip. Her new favorite toy and only drawback are the less durable straps. ... show more

Our Boxers love these balls but let me address the negative reviews - these are soccer balls (footballs)! They are not made to withstand teeth or bite force so they will deflate, pop, puncture HOWEVER. Our girls still play with the one we got them for Christmas which had a hole in it within 2 days. They literally throw the ball using the straps, toss it around from side to side, and chase one another. We love it because we can easily throw it (boxers slobber a lot) and play tug with them. The large is the size of a child's soccer ball which is perfect because it can't get lodged in their throats. Bottom line - I will continue to buy these. For the price to watch them get excited and have a blast playing, I'm willing to pay every few months. ... show more
