This is the cutest house ever! My 7 pound multipoo (who did not want a photo op) loves it! Well crafted and adorable design. Very easy to put together. I wish it was weather stained (but I can do that) and the roof had small damage from shipping (not sellers fault and hardly noticeable just a dent in that can’t be reversed). Be absolutely sure if you are planning to purchase this item. There are no Amazon return options. You can’t just drop off to a UPS location or similar. They are giving us a return address and you are responsible for shipping it to them at your inconvenience. Prime member or not. In our case the doghouse was smaller than our dog liked. There’s a picture of a Labrador on the product photos which is extremely misleading. It is way too small for labs or similar dogs even though it is advertised as large. Based on the rough dimensions shown in the photo it seemed like it would actually be large enough but we were mistaken. “No harm done, we’ll return with Amazon Prime…”, we thought. Now we are left with a doghouse which is too small and the wood isn’t even high quality enough for us to salvage and use to build our own. Very disappointing experience. Metal frame seemed sturdy enough but the wood is cheap. Depending on the shipping costs I might just have to try and sell this thing locally instead. . ... show more

Ok where do I start 🤔 Pros: the house is a nice size and sturdy for my little dog ( emphasize on Lil because I don’t know how it will work out for big dogs). Fast shipping and all necessary parts were accountable. Now let’s get to the meat and potatoes 😠 the cons! The reason I gave this 3 stars was because the instructions were terrible!!!! First off the instructions do not tell you how to complete the roof.. it tells you to place it on the dog house but nothing about where the long bar goes and what screws to use ALSO 😫 there are no instructions on how to put the porch part together!!!!! In order for me to finish the dog house I HAD TO LOOK AT THE PICTURE AND GUESS!!! MIND YOU I AM NOT A CARPENTER OR ENGINEER! However I think I did pretty good I NEED THE COMPANY TO DO BETTER WITH THEIR INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE!!! All in all I think the dog house is nice and it will do, hopefully the porch doesn’t fall apart 🫣😒 ... show more

I know there are dimensions on it but I definitely thought it’d be bigger, but overall it is really nice and really sturdy, my dog does in fact fit in it also (Bloodhound) only thing I didn’t like is how that tiny porch is attached to the house, it’s only held there with tiny angle brackets (1 on each side) definitely think there could be a better solution to it but still overall nice! I ended up screwing a 2x4 underneath to make the porch part of it a little more intact ... show more

although it felt like a big girl lego challenge to me luckily i had a partner and drill gun to help me. As much as i love to do things independently this project was just not a one person job. the instructions could possibly be a little better, HOWEVER it did take less than an hour to build. I bought this for my tortoise and the feeling on the inside without insulation blocks drafts from coming in. i can’t wait to update my review after i give it a porch light and little plants to go on the porch. It said it would arrive in 3-5 days but came literally the next day after i bought it. GIVE IN AND BUY IT !! and definitely do NOT LOSE ANY SCREWS. they give you a couple extra but they’re small and easy to lose! ... show more
