Looked really good when first built. My boyfriend put it together alone and said it was really difficult so recommend 2 people to assemble. Product description specifically says not a chew toy for dogs. I have a Labrador retriever and he definitely made this his chew toy. The window is completely broken and sooner rather than later I’m sure the whole side will be open. Disappointed. Just built it on January 10th and it’s already in this condition. Consider sizing up so the dog bed doesn’t impede the free movement of the door flaps. The dog bed should end on the right side of the kennel, just before the door or the flaps will stick to the dog bed and won’t close properly. I have a medium-large dog (Amstaff/pitbul) and I can see now than an XL size would have been more appropriate, especially since I will be adding a heater. My dog was afraid of the plastic door at first but now he loves it. I put a thermometer inside and it is actually 10 to 15 degrees higher than it is outside. I haven’t tried it in the freezing weather yet but i think it is a really good doghouse.
