  • Cheap plastic Trellis
Since this trellis is plastic it is not easy to "shove" into the ground like the metal ones. We had a wood garden bed and we anchored the trellis to the garden bed and that made all the difference. We got a few of those plumber pipe holders to anchor the trellis and it is now solidly in place. No way this just stays in place without some sort of anchoring. The wind will just know this over. ... show more

  • There are no assembly instructions included.
This thing is a total piece of junk! It's flimsy plastic with no instructions to put it together. I would return it if I didn't have to put some many pieces back in a box just to ship it back, I took it all out looking for the instructions. After calling support they say I have to go to a website and watch a video. They said they would Email me the instructions but just forwarded me to a second and then third person. Even the netting on this thing is super cheap. It looks like it was manufactured as a child's toy. It's a total waste of money. ... show more

  • I won't live long enough to put this together.
Hundreds of "poles" in different sizes....way to much assembly for this girl. Made of light weight metal and pvc. Held together with screws....feels to lightweight to last any amount of time. It's going back.

  • Good, large trellis
I’m surprised to see the bad reviews on this. I really like the look, and I haven’t had any issue with wind (it’s very windy here. I’ve had to replace my flagpole 3 times) in the 2 months it’s been up. I don’t know that I believe it can support something super heavy like melons or large squash, but for beans and cucumbers it will definitely do the job. Nice that it came with netting and lots of connectors/ties for the plants. There are quite a few pieces, but I was able to put it together without much trouble. I should have paid more attention to how far apart I placed the horizontal bars, since I needed to fit a vertical piece inside the gap, but it wasn’t hard to shift them all. To stand it up, I made the separate arches, then connected them with it lying down where some legs were on the ground and some were in the air. Then I could kind of roll it over onto the raised bed to be upright. It does have a little give to it, but I found that helpful since the ground under my raised beds isn’t perfectly even. ... show more

  • Flimsy overpriced mess
First of all no directions. I put it together based on photo. It is a flimsy mess. It took me a couple of hours to put together, but I’m sure a good wind will break it up in a matter of minutes. I have to figure out how to secure the mess. I’m debating on taking it apart and returning it. Sad, because it looked so good in photos. ... show more
