Every single summer I struggle to find a comfortable AND functional strapless bra to wear with halters, spaghetti straps, etc. After reading the reviews, I figured there was nothing to lose in trying out this one. Welp, let me tell you...best I have EVER found. EVER. Here is why: 1) It is not padded and doesn't attempt to push you up! (I will caveat this by saying I HATE foam-padded, push-up bras. If you want padding or push-up to give you false cleavage then don't order this...and if you order it, don't complain that it's unpadded!!) 2) Sizing is accurate. I'm a 38D, ordered a 38D and it fits absolutely perfect. 3) Comfortable. Wore it for 10 hours without noticing....which leads into the next reason.... 4) Stays put. I was skeptical about purchasing this bra - it looks like there isn't much substantialness to it but other than the lace showing your nipples (nothing nipple covers won't easily fix), this bra fits perfectly, stays in place and is fairly comfortable (although at times lace bothers my skin). I like the strap options. For the price, I am extremely happy with this purchase for the few times I need to wear a strapless bra. I have an average to large chest 38 C - D with a broad upper rib cage. I have tried so many strapless options and HATED THEM ALL! To me it's outrageous that some options are as expensive as they are! This bra fits true to size! Give it a try. Pictured is me in a one-shoulder dress (bought here on Amazon - so comfortable & received lots of compliments). I wanted to show what the bra wears like under a dress so I posted a close-up picture and a full body. This bra stayed up. I wasn't dying to rip it off until about 1 AM but I had been wearing it for almost 12 hours at that point. I wish I had thought to add the 1 strap to the sleeve side of the dress, but it really didn't occur to me until I was already dressed and gone. I ordered this strapless bra fairly last minute to wear with a long dress I purchased to wear on a cruise. I kept asking myself why I bought a dress that I had to wear a strapless bra with, but it was on sale! I'm not in the habit of ordering bras that I can't try on, but I had problems even finding one in stores or, the couple that I did find were like some kind of torturing device. That has pretty much always been my experience with strapless bras. I couldn't believe that this one was actually comfortable (as strapless bras go). I also like the fact that it came with a strap that you can use for a couple different styles of tops or dresses -- halter, etc. It is very sheer just like it is pictured, soft (not scratchy at all) and it does not contain any type of padding -- which is fine with me because I'm already a 38DD so I don't need any more padding! I'm so glad that if I need to wear a strapless bra in the future I now have one that I know I can wear. Mine is black, but I know if I ever need a beige one I can just order it. ... show more

    • Amazing fit; scraped my skin.
I loved this. It fit beautifully, it stayed up and in place all day, it didn't give me uni-boob, and it made my boobs look nice under my strapless dress. HOWEVER!!! When I took it off, the top of the left cup (which wasn't damaged or anything weird) had scraped a line into my skin. I hadn't felt ANY pain or rubbing. The next morning, the scrape had filled with liquid. I sterilized a safety pin and popped it. Its been 2 months and I still have a light scar. I love this bra. If I wear it again, though, I will only wear it for a couple of hours!!! ... show more

Very pretty, well-made bra, but the sizing is small. I ordered my usual size of 38C, but it is too tight even at the longest bra hook. Needed a bra extension. Cup size is more suited for B, not a C. Returned. I would have liked to keep it, as it is very pretty and I love the lace detail. It does not provide good support, unless you use the straps. Kind of defeats the purpose of a staples bra, though. ... show more
