If ur like me & don’t bake a ton or have the need for a stand mixer every day, this is a great alternative. I love the large bowl but I think with it being bigger it also causes the mixer to not be able to reach all the sides when using it. For me it doesn’t bother me I just take one of my flat spatulas and scrape the sides into the center as it’s mixing. I specifically bought this to make dough & I love it & love more that I’m not spending $300 plus for a kitchen aid. It looks great, easy to use & does the job. Oh the only thing that bugs me but I know is actually helpful is the suction cups at the bottom. I know they are there to hold mixer in place but having to un-suction it every time u want to move it sucks lol not a big deal but my only complaint. 😬 ... show more

Purchased this model basically for price, and to expand my baking capability. I use the stand mixer to make bread and sticky rolls. So far the mixer has worked well and handled kneading the dough without problems. Use has been a couple of times a week, The exterior cleans easily, the attachments are not dishwasher safe per documentation. However, simple to clean manually. The plastic mixing bowl’s lid whose purpose is to allow additional ingredients to be added to the bowl during use does not work. This item’s diameter is smaller than that of the bowl, and cannot be used. Not a deal breaker, more of an irritant. Somewhat noisy, but that is to be expected for the price paid . Suction cups hold the unit in place during use. My overall opinion is this unit is acceptable for a first time bread/roll baker with limited use. I am not sure how it would stand up to heavy, daily use. ... show more

This one is better then my kitchenade stand mixer. Goes faster, and I can fit about 6 cake mixes in there with no problem. This one saves me so much time. I'm definitely getting another one.

Measure your mixer’s capacity when you get it. I purchased this mixer as my 6.5 qt mixer works great but is too small to do double batches of a number of my recipes. I chose the largest non-commercial mixer I could find…Dobbor 9.5 qt. I read a comment somewhere that a mixer someone ordered claimed to be a certain size but was smaller. I was super excited to get it today to use for baking tonight but when my boyfriend looked at the mixing bowl, he thought it didn’t look much bigger. So we filled it twice…and it is overflowing at 8.5 qts. I checked the skew and model number and it comes up as 9.5 qt everywhere (Amazon, Walmart etc). I don’t believe I received the wrong item. I believe this is intentional deception and Amazon should look into it. There is no way to contact the vendor directly and Amazon says to send it back for a refund. ... show more
