I am glad I bought this corded electric handheld planer for my new door installation project in my basement. I am an advance level DIY person and I loved this product. It helped me trim the two new wooden doors to fit in existing frames. If you are new to using this product, I recommend you practice using this planer on a scrap wood plane and get a good handle of how to use this tool effectively.
