We really love the shelf, however we had to have someone come in and achor this to the studs in the wall. Otherwise it began to take the drywall down. It's been a process. You should start with a contractor first before you assemble.

It’s a nice mount for what we wanted under our 75” tv. Do not use the cheap anchors it comes with. Get toggle bolts as they will be a lot more sturdy. Some the preset holes are off and you have to mess with it to get boards to align up. You will want to tear it up by the same time you get it up. Had a few minor imperfections I didn’t care about. Not the easiest to assemble…This product is not for Sheetrock walls…!!!! TV stand is heavy by itself without adding a receiver, shelf speakers or ornaments….you would think the design concept would take that into consideration. No, instead they give you three (3) hooks that will actually pull the anchors out of your wall. I had to literally prop the wall mount up with a 2x4, run to Home Depot and spend $45 of extra money on “L” brackets to support the weight. That is NOT the “floating” concept that was advertised; I wound up basically creating a “shelf”… ... show more

The console itself is as advertised and I paid a premium for the black unit. Delivery was on-time from Amazon as always, but the product was a disappointment. Most importantly, the dimension of three wall bracket mount included in the kit is only 2"x2". The "Floating" console weighs about 66 lbs. with center of gravity around 12" from the wall. This puts close to 800 lb-in torque on those small brackets that are secured to the wall only by two 1/4" screws. (i.e., there just isn't enough strengths on those screws to withstand the cantilever force!!) Also, the chronological order on the Instruction is just plain incorrect. It required me to disassemble and reorder the assembly process it to correctly complete the installation. Unless you decide to fabricate your own wall hanging bracket and you're mechanically inclined/intuitive to assemble without the step-by-step manual, I would not recommend this product. ... show more

I loved the look of the floating entertainment center so I purchased it!! How hard can it be! Well the directions they provide are horrible so I would say definitely use the YouTube directions provided. Even with that being said, we purchased this product on Nov. 3, it was delivered on November 18 and as of today November 30th our floating entertainment center is on the floor😔! Went to bed with it on the wall and woke up with it on the floor! We will now have to find a new entertainment center! We only had remotes, a sound bar and the two smaller speakers on top of it. Nothing heavy enough to have it fall! If possible maybe having it assembled already may do some folks good! I wish I would have listened to the reviews! ... show more

    • Worst Wall Mount Kit I've ever seen
So I don't typically do these. But felt compelled to after this blow hole of an assembly. They're design implements anchors in drywall to hold a 60 lb object without any lags/conjoined mount. Just 3 seperate 2 in brackets. Product itself came together as expected. But the dimensions of this larger wall mounted one really require a larger mounting apparatus. I'll be finding at least some supplementary L-Brackets to add into the studs. Oh yea and the directions are a blessing let me tell you ... show more
