  • Practical, Stylish and Comfortable!
Size: 9 Color: White
I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9, they fit perfectly. However, I wore these shoes for a whole day, with socks and no inserts, and I was fine. My husband and I went to a botanical garden, then went to a couple bars and it started raining. I was able to walk in puddles with confidence and socks weren’t wet. The only complaint is that the rubber smells, even after letting them air out for a week. Otherwise, these shoes were a great purchase and super stylish. ... show more

  • This review is not bought, but if you wanted to give me my next pair for free, I wouldn't be mad
My go to non-slip shoe. They're true to size and work as advertised, if you're looking for a good non slip shoe that you won't regret, you should get these. Now, why should you believe me? Like a lot of other reviewers for this item, I work long hours in a slippery, kitchen environment . I've tried at least five other types of non slips shoes over the years (all more expensive than dksuko), and these shoes have become my staple. The reasons why I love them: 1.Stylish,or at least passable as such. Maybe a bit vain, but I really can't rationalize spending money on shoes that I can't stand to look at. If I wouldn't wear them on a casual outing, I don't want 'em. And they feel natural to wear too. Probably because of the material, which stretches and makes it easier to put on and take off the shoe. 2. They don't smell! How? I guess it has to do with them being rain boots, so maybe they're built to repel liquids and/or dry out faster, hence less opportunity for bacterial growth. It's honestly a miracle, I'm notorious for having stanky, after-work swamp foot among friends and fam. Yes, you could wash shoes over and over again to get the stank out, but the number of times/frequency with which I would have to wash other brand shoes to keep the odor down was not worth it to me. But these dksuko shoes have almost no scent whatsoever after MONTHS. Which brings me to... 3. Reliable durability. Now, I don't know how long you want your shoes to last, but these shoes will retain their nonslipiness for 3-4 months of constant use (5 day, 40 hour work week use.) This is from someone who tends to drag their feet HARD for probably 20 % of that time. Also, I don't do any upkeep on the soles or tracks, so that's a solid 3 months without putting any effort into preserving the shoes. Even if you find a shoe that lasts longer, refer to point 2 why you probably would not want to even keep those shoes at that point. And if you think it's asking a lot to reorder these shoes every 3 months, consider... 4. That price point, my dude. Every time I buy these shoes , they are easily half the price of competing or other top rated brands. $25 for 3-4 months vs $50-60 for shoes that'll probably last me about the same amount of time, tbh. It's a steal. Okay, those are the main reasons why you should buy these shoes. Though I still recommend you buingy them regardless, here are some things about them that might make you go hmmmm... 1.) The insole...owie. Flat and hard, no bueno. It really just feels like you're stepping straight onto hard rubber, even if you have thick crew socks on . On the plus side, a decent 10 dollar insole usually fits well and will hold in place. Buying a more comfortable, insertable insole really is a necessity imo, so the shoe+a new insole does up the price point a bit. Still, both items together will likely still cost less than a different non-slip (that will probably also need an insert). 2. The material is awesome rubbery type stuff, but watch the heck out with the shoelaces and the little holes you put the laces through. The holes don't have metal rings around them and they will break if you pull on a lace hard enough. Well, actually, the only times I've broken the lace hole is by accidentally stepping on a lace and then aggressively tugging on a part of it that was near the hole, thinking that the lace was tucked into my shoe...idk with the all black version it's kind of hard to actually see where the lace is if you're tired and trying to get your shoes off your foot asap. I have broken a lace hole in this or a similar fashion twice (so far) , so I thought it fit to warn any future buyers. Once the lace hole is broken, the shoe is noticeably awkward to wear because the tightness will not be equal on both sides of your foot. If you make the lace lower on both sides of the shoe, it won't feel as secure. Plus, you'll feel the difference between the shoe with the regular level of laces and the shoe with the laces on a lower level. It's a whole thing. Don't rip the lace hole. Or whatever the technical term for a shoelace hole is. TL;DR: In summary, these shoes are affordable, won't make your feet smell, and they look snazzy. Buy a good insertable insole, be mindful when tying and untying your laces, and you should be set for a few months if not longer . Well, that's about it. I'm about to buy these shoes for what I think is the 5th time, and I thought I'd leave a review before-hand in appreciation of a quality product. Thanks much. ... show more

  • Bought pads for these converse-like rain boots
My size is 7.5 so i bought an 8. They are true to size, if you have a pair of converse you can buy the same size without being afraid of them being bigger or smaller. JUST MAKE SURE U BOUGHT SOME GOOD PAIR OF SOLE PADS! They don't have a almost any, so I bought some gel ones at the supermarket as I plan to use them to do some hiking in a rain forest in Costa Rica, so if you don't have extra cushioning it will hurt quite a bit to step on a rock or branch. They are not intended for hicking obviously, so i can't blame them, they are most likely for walking in the city. The big downside to me is that the actual sole are very thin and soft, so you can even see (and feel) how your foot expands the sole of the shoe (note the curvature on the second pic), so they have little to any arch support. Aside from that, pretty cute shoes and also rainproof!!!! Should i bought then knowing what i know today? Yes, absolutely, i hate hiking shoes and these are cute and versatile, just use them in the city. ... show more

  • For my Alaska cruise
Size: 10 Color: Pink Short
Got these for rainy days on my Alaska cruise and general wear. They are cute and should work fine, though they are heavy weight. I put some wool inserts in the bottom for warmth. I ordered some thinner socks as my thick wool socks take up too much room. I have narrow to medium width feet and these shoes feel a bit tight even with the laces loose. I am hoping the new socks help with that. ... show more

  • Mixed Feelings
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark
I got these because I work in fast food and get water and oil splashed on my feet sometimes. They were cheap, and I thought they looked cute. I've had these for a couple weeks and have mixed feelings about them in which I'll make a list of pros and cons. Pros: - They are true to being waterproof. The whole outside of the shoe is rubber like and I like that about these shoes. Haven't had any leaks whatsoever. - Design/look of the shoe resembles Chuck Taylor Converse which I like. They're difficult to put on though, but I'm not suprised because I've had Converse shoes before and it was the exact same experience. - It's durable. I've had all types of stuff scrape against these shoes and there's barely any marks on them. Cons/Needed Improvements: - There is barely any cushoning in the sole of these shoes. I don't know if it's because my feet are spoiled to my other shoes or what, but my feet are sore/hurting when wearing these. I had to put Dr. Scholl's inserts after a few days to make it tolerable. - The high tops on these constantly rub against my skin above the ankle to the point where I have red marks for a few days after wearing them. I have to wear longer socks now so this doesn't happen. - These are also non-slip shoes and they're so-so. They work until I get a bunch of crap lodged into the crevices. This is might be the environment of my work is since there's so much crap on the floor but it sucks that I have to power spray the bottom of my shoes a few times a day. This wasn't a big problem when I had other non-slip shoes. I'm not sure if I can recommend these. They do their job for being waterproof and they're cute but they're kind of annoying due to the cons I've listed. ... show more

  • Perfect shoes for Washington weather
These have worked out great! So far, they have been really comfortable and seem durable. I have been wearing them daily for the past 2ish weeks without any issues. I did replace the laces with elastic ones so I do not have to tie them ever and the elastic actually made them fit better. They feel more secure, without me having to tighten the laces. ... show more
