Bought this suit in charcoal for my son's homecoming dance. He's 6' 1.5" and 200 pounds and wears a 16.5"/36-37" dress shirt. He's normally a 34x34 in jeans, but, following advice from the reviews, we sized up to 36x34 in the pants. Ordered a 42L in the jacket. (These are suit separates; you have to place the jacket and pants in your cart individually). Both pieces fit PERFECTLY, as though they were tailored for him. Love the neutral, charcoal color, which can be worn to weddings, funerals, or work functions. In my son's case, we jazzed it up with a green shirt and floral tie to match his date's "fairy green" dress. The fabric is lightweight, cool, and has just the right amount of drape and stretch. Son said it was surprisingly comfortable. My husband tried on the jacket and and I couldn't believe how nice the modern/slimmer cut looked on him. I'm actually thinking of buying one for him in a 40L. I was lucky to find this suit on sale and paid just over 100 for the set. A steal! Here is a conspiracy theory. Big companies trick consumers to get skinny leg and pay more for less product. Except no one is buying it. Thus, an over stock, thus a relabeling. Thus, every store and mall you go to will have skinny legs because someone thought a small percentage of people wearing skinny legs magically fits everyone. I can fit skinny leg, I don't like the look, and I prefer more space since I have had surgery on my knee. I would have returned this If I did not need it. The top fit perfect, because there is no trend for skinny tops, it's made to fit, EG properly labeled and sized for easy purchase. Unlike the pants. BRING BACK THE REAL LOOSE FIT. BRING BACK THE BOOT LEG. BRING BACK THE BAGGY. Cause in reality, no one should have to sift through the 5 different variations of skinny leg. INTENDED USE: I work part-time as a retail security officer in a high end luxury store. I am required to wear an all black suit. Standing in one place for more than 4 hours is common. MY DIMENSIONS: I am approximately 5’ 10” tall and weigh about 225 pounds. My jacket size is 46 R. My waist size fluctuates between 36 to 38. My inseam size is 30 FIT: Earlier reviews recommended to purchase a size up. I wish I followed their suggestions as the jacket was a little snug by the armpit/rib cage area. I think they were right about the fit being closer to a Slim fit as opposed to a modern fit. OVERALL LOOK: The color is a nice dark black. The weight of the jacket is lightweight and the material looks more solid than weaved in the photo. The material is a little stretchy, but not overly stretchy like the more recent modern style of suits. The matching pants (see my review for this) is of a lighter weight and stretchy. Not the wild stretch, but a stretch that will move without looking wrinkled. Sorry Twillory. No vents-something I prefer. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN?: Short answer is yes. It really depends if I can match it with a matching pair of pants. With my weight fluctuations, this is probably a no go for now. It’s cheap enough to shove it in a bag and store until I need it, but my wife’s ire with me buying things and just shoving it in the closet makes this purchase a no-go. ... show more
