This is the first kit I’ve put together and did everything it need to do. The instructions are photos which is great for me because I’m a visual learner; pieces are easily identified and labeled well . I glued everything together, so fun to glue the furniture pieces together, I’ve seen other kits do click in pieces but this was more enjoyable, it gives such a satisfying feeling. I messed up the wiring and cut short but I made it work by using electrical tape instead of the piece given. This was my 1st miniature house build. And it was so fun! The directions are just enough information to get the gist of it. Some areas of the directions are just a process of elimination and common sense. It was not difficult at all. But it was time consuming. This is a great hobbie so relaxing, just pop on a podcast or audio book and create away. Before I knew it 2-3 hours has passed. I think is a little less intricate than some of the other miniature houses, but it is really awesome. I think it's great for beginners as well. Definitely worth the cost too! ... show more

This is absolutely adorable and so cute to build, but a decent amount of the pieces that go together aren’t the same size which complicates steps later on. the second floor snaps into the back wall, but the pieces on the floor were to big to snap into the holes in the wall. the red walls on the side you build with 3 pieces that don’t line up perfectly. You can still complete the build it just adds stress. Also takes lots of lots of glue, I’ve been using Elmer’s craft bond & it works well ... show more

This is exactly the kind of busywork I like. Small pieces, lots of precision gluing, and tinkering with little bits. If you like this kind of detail busywork and need something to keep you busy for a few hours, this thing will do the trick. I would buy a dozen of these if they weren't so expensive.
