That was so much fun! I customized my miniature house to match the colors in my home and modernized it a bit with a few craft supplies and had many hours of enjoyment during assembly. I think it was adorable! As with any model kit, it takes a bit of time and patience. I actually got it for a grand-child and they had fun building it. It didn't come with glue, but I'm still happy with my choice.

I bought this to make for my son and daughter in law for Christmas - this is the 9th tiny house I've made and you get better with practice. I would not recommend it as a first project as many of the elements that are super tiny. I used tiny nail scissors for much of the paper cutting and substituted AA battery packs for the button batteries as they are so much easier to change. I bought them on Amazon and used two, as that made it easier to wire-- just super glued them on the back. The wires were a little short but overall very fun to make and super cute! you'll need to buy tweezers n good super glue or model glue. it can be a little frustrating putting some objects together and some of the pieces do not measure the same as in the manual, so be careful!

I gave this to my 70 year old mom for Christmas as a project for the two of us to complete. It was the perfect size for the two of us to work on together and gave us something to do instead of watching TV. It was challenging but doable - She kept trying to add her own personal touches, but I had to keep reminding her that it was a KIT and there was no room for anything else. Needless to say, she loved it! Since we were first-timers it took over 30 man-hours to complete. I'm thrilled with the completed result. I have included a picture of the Holiday Times Christmas house but I am working on all three houses in the set! NOTE: Holiday Times used a different Battery than the other two sets (AAA's) Order them from amazon - they are much cheaper! LR54 or LR1130 button batteries. You'll need 3. ... show more

I'm so happy I bought this. I had a lovely time building it and the finished kit is beautiful. The music box is a really nice touch that I haven't seen in any of the other little house kits. I've built 4 miniatures kits since the pandemic started (and have ordered three more). This was the smallest one. If you're used to building Rolife kits you might be surprised by how the pieces of this kit are even tinier than that tiny stuff. My only tips are to have patience and use tweezers! ... show more

I thought this was a super cute scene. first I am 47, consider myself crafty and this takes patience, dexterity and tiny fingers. Peices are very small. I do not think a child could do this. A 14 year old with the interest, maybe. Does not come with wood glue so be sure to buy yours. The instructions are step by step and I am able to follow so far.
