This DIY is Rolife so, it's pretty straight forward. When placing the small parts be extremely careful not to break the parts like did without realizing it. This is not meant for kids younger than 14. If you are looking for something for younger kids try the Super Creator by Rolife.

This is a smaller set than what I've done, but it is so, so cute. I love the little baked goods that come with it. I have done several of these miniature sets (rooms, book nooks), and this one would be great for a beginner. I liked it so much, I'm going to get the other one- the milk box. My daughter has wanted to try one of these, and I think these would be great for her, because they are not as involved as some of the other sets I've done. Plus, the end result is adorable and right up her alley. I have done several from this brand, and I think they are all good quality. Their directions are easy to follow too. I like to do these types of sets in small increments, so I don't' get frustrated and lose the fun. I look at reviews a lot when shopping. I hope this review helps! ... show more

My oldest (8 years old) LOVES arts and crafts, and has made many many many Lego creations, but she has never dabbled in miniatures before despite the fact that it blends her love of crafting with her love of building. This kit was a perfect entry into building a lifelike miniature bakery (with a little assistance from mom where needed). The whole thing is just adorable when it is finished, with so many careful details.
