The media could not be loaded. For some reason I am fascinated by all things miniature. And, I like puzzles. Combine the two and you have these book nooks. First one I ever put together, and enjoyed every minute of it. Most pieces just snap and stay, but some require a little gluing (included). Very intriqit and ornate. Very easy to follow directions included (book style), so a very nice presentation. Lots of small pieces, so I would suggest some good tweezers. I like how the include some extra things and encourage some freestyle decorating. The wiring and lighting is easy to do, and on the finished product, when the lights go on, this is beautiful to look at. It does suck some time, so don't be surprised if you look up at clock and three hours have passed. But, that's what I wanted, so constructive fun thing to do for a little while, and this kept my interest from start to finish. ... show more

This has been my favorite creation so far! It’s my 6th book nook, first by this brand, and I am so impressed! The instruction manual was helpful with larger printing which I really appreciated. Everything was well constructed, and I had no issues with pieces not fitting-if anything, they were loose, but a very small dab of glue put everything together nicely. I’ve had another kit utilizing the same glue in this kit, and I’ve found it’s works pretty well…I’ve read complaints about running out of this glue, and taking forever to dry, but it only requires a very small amount to secure the pieces-a little goes a very long way! I had only 1 issue with the arch that was to go over the rose case, so I just omitted it-no big deal, except that I know it’s not there. Overall-this is a very nice nook! ... show more

This is my fourth book nook. I've done kits by Rolife, CuteBee, and Minicity, but this one by Joohour is the highest quality of them all. The instructions were perfect, the finished nook outstanding, and best of all, the pieces fitted together impeccably. The outside housing snapped together so well that there was no need to glue; I find that preferable in case I ever have to get into the nook for rearranging things or making repairs. There were also numerous opportunities to customize the little room to fit the recipient of the gift: I replaced all the photos and books with personal ones. The media could not be loaded. I don't know why I waited so long to start building book nooks, but once I did, I was hooked! I came across a new seller, and the Enchanted Library by Joohour grabbed my attention immediately. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite childhood movies, and this book nook gives me ALL the Belle's Library vibes! If you look closely on the second level, a glass dome with the rose sits waiting for the spell to be broken. Check out the table on the bottom floor, and you might see hints of some favorite characters. Of course, they are subtle as they must be, but let's just say you should step in and "Be Our Guest". The rose details on the front were perfect. The kit was packaged SO nicely. It even comes with the glue, which is not always the case. The lights were neatly packaged, and imagine my surprise when I realized there were 3 adorable sconces as part of the light up kit. I believe this was one of the easiest nooks to wire I've done yet. Also notable is the fact the lights weren't all tangled or impossible to keep straight. I really appreciated that. The wooden pieces snap out of the frame so easily. I didn't struggle to release any of them, and that was a nice change. Book nooks absolutely MUST have a dust cover if I'm adding them to my shelves, and this one did not disappoint. The best part is, the dust cover is held in place by the little roses! The mirrored effect added to this scene makes you feel like you could step right into the library and spend an afternoon reading. A fun fact is, the seller is actually the designer too! I love knowing I'm directly supporting the designer. They put so much thought and detail into this book nook kit, and I'm so excited to search for more and to see what they design next! ... show more

Positives - Came with all the pieces, working LED lights and glue, which was enough for the build. - Wooden pieces snapped out easily and instructions were clear. - Enchanting Beauty and the Beast themed book nook with curved bookshelves and detail - there were lots of books to make, but assembly was easy and book covers were stickers. Overall, fun to make! Negatives - F12 circular pieces didn’t fit inside the plastic cover for the rose. That needed to be filed down, which took away the dark brown colour on one side. - Due to the light in the back top, it was clearly visible where the mirror was placed as the ceiling. It looks great but EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE is loose, had to glue every single piece. Not worth the money but I was halfway done so just had to push through and finish. Do not get this.
