This was my 1st miniature house build. And it was so fun! The directions are just enough information to get the gist of it. Some areas of the directions are just a process of elimination and common sense. It was not difficult at all. But it was time consuming. This is a great hobbie so relaxing, just pop on a podcast or audio book and create away. Before I knew it 2-3 hours has passed. I think is a little less intricate than some of the other miniature houses, but it is really awesome. I think it's great for beginners as well. Definitely worth the cost too! ... show more

This is the third type of these I’ve constructed. This one has been the most time consuming but I love the Christmas theme! I love how it has a built in cover when it’s done so dust doesn’t get in but you can also take off the front clear door if you need to. This one has lots of lights (which I love on the finished product!) but be very patient with wiring the lights. That part took a while but overall I’m happy with the finished product! ... show more

EDIT: I have increased from 3 stars to 4 stars as after receiving my review, the merchant has offered to send us a kit that is better suited for a 1 year old. This seems like a good quality product but the pieces are too small for a 1 year old. Really like this but can't let my son use without supervision. ... show more

I have not had time to start building this yet. I'm working on a different mini house atm, and will update when I get going on it. I have 4 or 6 or 8 (lol) other ones to do, but I pick one, when I'm finished with the current one I'm working on, depending on my mood(?. Lol) I also customize each one, so it takes me a bit onger to finish them. I'll add photos when I'm done with this one. Also, I've waited up to 6 to 12 months to ask the seller to replace any items that may be damaged or missing, and so far they've all been great working with me on my requests. I hope this seller us the same. I may pick this one to do next because it's so so dang Cute (Aren't they all), but... I also want to find a dust cover for it as I Usually don't by these types without one, but even if I don't find one, I'll rig something that will work. Thanks 🙂 ... show more

This is a fun project which I am enjoying; however, after putting together Magic Pharmacist kit I purchased on Amazon prior to this, I must say I am a little disappointed in this one. None of the pieces snap together as they did in my first kit, so you must be patient and glue everything. Also, the wood is a little thinner than that of the Magic Pharmacist kit, but nothing has broken and it looks great. I paid around $50 for my Magic Pharmacist and under $20 for this kit - so you definitely get what you pay for. So far, everything is going into place as planned (other than the teeny tiny things I have managed to lose at no fault of this kit). I must say I am hooked on these kits. And I will purchase another kit when I'm done with this one. Thank you for creating such a fun hobby. ... show more
