This is a fantastic dive skin, especially for the price. I have a 0.5-mm wetsuit, but when that is just too much or too bulky, this skin is perfect. The size chart was accurate (2XL for me, 200 lbs and 6'-2"). The fit is nice, the quality seems good, and the style is great. We do warm water diving (96 degrees F or higher) quite often here, and this is the perfect solution. But IMO, the skin could be used anywhere where the water is around 80 degrees or higher. ... show more

Fit was good, and it seems that it’d do a good job of UV protection. Does not really provide any warmth under water - it’s a very thin material, like a dry-fit exercise shirt. Good for UV protection and maybe for scrapes & abrasions. I’d suggest not wearing it if it’s wet and at all windy - sucks the heat right out of you. ... show more

We went on a snorkeling trip and wanted to find something to help protect against sunburns and found these suits. These are good quality suits that did exactly what we wanted, they had enough stretch to them and are a lightweight material similar to a swim suit. We ordered one to see how it fit and ended up getting a suit for the whole family and so glad we did! It was more convenient and affordable than a thick wetsuit if you’re going for uv protection. They do run a little small so if you’re not sure how they fit I’d go a size up especially if you’re tall! ... show more

All areas of this fit just fine besides the neck. I don't know if I just have a thick neck, but attempting to look down. Feels like someone is pushing on my trachea. It could be the zipper. I think a better design would be to have the zipper not directly in the middle of the suit but rather to the left or right hand side. Much like a shoulder zip. Placing it in the middle makes it really easy to choke yourself. It's not necessarily stopping any air, but it's very uncomfortable and I'm forced to unzip it. I wish I had believed the reviews that said it was see through! When I first tried it on it felt great but that was indoors with dim lights. When I finally got a chance to use it to go in the pool wow… I changed in a restroom where the lighting was brighter and I could see everything! It’s not even a tight fit so it’s not like I was stretching the fabric too much. On its own it’s thinner than a rashguard. I doubt it has decent UV protection if you can see through it. I wouldn’t use this on its own the way it is. Waste of money and my return window closed. ... show more

This dive skin is thin, stretchy, and comfortable. It does exactly what I need, serving as a thin full body rash guard and sun blocker while diving in the ocean, but it's lightweight and doesn't take up much more room than a shirt in my carry on luggage. I've worn it on multiple dives (snorkeling, free diving) and the material has held up without falling apart yet. The only caveat I will add is that the sizing runs a little small. I normally wear medium to large clothes, and I had to order a 2XL for the right fit.
