Needed a cheaper, but also nice-ish DP cable for a standing desk. I like the cake flexibility and size of the connector. Using to connect two AOC 34" ultra wides to a 6900XT. Vsync works as it should.

The cable feels and looks really high quality. The reason I went with this cable was I wanted a dp cable with the smallest possible connector because of limited space to plug it in for my application. When I got it I was happy because the connector was about half the length of my old one and made connecting it much easier. If you are looking for something like that then this cable is the one you need. The packaging reflects a high quality product. It works like it should. The VESA certification is actually important to insure there is no issue or damage to pc components or the monitor. Sometimes cheaper cable will have a link between both sides of the cable that shouldn’t be connected potentially damaging the display or components. I recently bought a second cable from this same brand because I was impressed with this one. Some people think a cable is a cable but that is not entirely true. If you are looking for good quality at a decent price I would recommend this cable. ... show more

My monitor a samsung odessey G7 settings report 1.4 hz connection. I did change the refresh rate to 240 hz in advanced windows settings. Frame rates peak out at 140 fps while gaming. So no dice on this one being a vesa certified 240 hz cable. there is one other review that points out the same thing.

Pin 20 is disconnected - I tested each one personally with a DMM. If you're looking for a DP cable, you can stop searching - this is the one. Reasons for: - Disconnected pin 20 - You're like me and don't like the latch that is common on DP cables (makes them really hard to disconnect) - Shortest connector I've seen, allowing the cable to bend sooner without placing stress on the DP port - Braided cable and metal connector - One of the cheapest options (at the time of writing) with no apparent downsides (better than my more expensive cables) Reasons against: - You like to live dangerously and enjoy the idea potentially damaging your old graphics card with a cable with connected pin 20 - You want a connector that could compete with Long Long Man (why?) or you like the latch - You want to spend more money (why??) I bought two - one of them had an issue and contacting support for a replacement was quick and painless. So here's another reason for: excellent support. ... show more

Paid a little more for a cable claiming to be VESA certified and it seems to be paying off. Using two of them to feed signal to a pair of Dell UltraSharp monitors I got from a friend's business he shut down and they seem to be working as expected. The source is an Asus ROG 1080ti which detected the monitors and resolution, etc, with issue. I haven't had any problems with the monitors not wanting to power on after going into power savings, and the monitors also turn on just fine when waking the computer from hibernation. While the build quality seems really good and I like the braided sheath, the packaging was good but unnecessarily plastic. The injection molded clips that brace and holds the cables in a nice flat coil could have been paper or wood, and the bag inside the box could have been cotton or soft paper instead of plastic. Again, packaging was really nicely done, I just prefer less plastic when possible. I'll update later is the cables start acting up. ... show more
