    • Cables Are Great; Packaging Not SoMuch
I've bought this brand before and I'll keep on doing so. They are well-constructed (at least as far as I tell) and they always work. Not only this variety (DP to DP) but all the other permutations as well. However, the boxes they come in are not labeled in any way (not counting a very tiny bar code) that says what is in the box. If iVANKY would simply put human-readable labels on the boxes that tell what type of cable is inside, that would be great!! ... show more

This cable does what it's supposed to do in that it connects my computer to my 4K monitor. It seems to be fairly sturdy and not cheaply made. It fully supports 4K at 60 Hertz and it works flawlessly.

Unlike all the other display port cords I tried on my PC this one does not cut out when the light switch in the bathroom is flipped which was an odd and annoying issue I was having. Besides that it works well and is sturdy so I certainly recommend!

Edit: vendor sent a new display port cable, and it works much better (no issues) than the first cable. Material quality is solid, but the connectivity of the DisplayPort cable I received leaves a lot to be desired. I have to constantly unplug and replug the cable to get a stable connection. This issue appears across multiple docks, monitors and laptops, so it’s definitely a cable issue. ... show more

GENERAL INFORMATION Sometimes, we all buy something that needs a DP cable but we only have HDMI. This is the perfect cable to fix this problem forever! PROS - Great picture quality. I run my PC at 2K, 144hz. This DP cable can handle it perfectly. - Great durability. Ever just accidentally pull a cable so hard it almost snaps in half? Only me? Oh, well - either way, this cable survived a beating - not to mention stays in place really well. I'm writing this review about 1.5 years after purchase, and this cable runs just as well as day 1. - Good gaming. Need to run your epic games? Facebook? 4K60? This cable does the job. CONS - The packing was sub par, with mine arriving simply as a plain cable in Amazon packaging. No manuals. No support cards. No warranty card. Just a plain cable. However, it's a cable - it works well enough! CONCLUSION I would much take DP over HDMI due to the price point difference in higher-quality pictures. So, when I had to find a DP cable, this one stuck out - and now, it's been with me for over a year, with no end in sight. Finally a good budget cable. Well deserved 4.7/5. ... show more
