They are dangerous - you can stab yourself in the foot when you open the gate. The shelves need a deeper tract to hold the knives. Also the shelves should work - either upside down or the opposite . I am disappointed that they aren't safe or adaptable.

I was not expecting a super sturdy display case given the cost..pleasantly surprised. Our intention for this item was to lay it flat to display jewellery on long chains for sale in a booth situation & it works perfectly. The lining keeps the pieces looking neat & the chains don’t get tangled. The dark background makes the display look very professional.
