Out of all the Playdate dolls, Moana is the most detailed. Her body scuplt is movie accurate! She has thick calves and the most detailed feet. Even though she is 32 inches, she does look a little shorter compared to the other princesses. Her hair is so soft and slick. Feels like high quality nylon. Tiana arrived great, much prettier than expected also. She posed pretty easily on arms and legs but the feet don't swivel though they look like they should and I am afraid of breaking them so I guess if you give to a child make sure her feet don't get twisted off. She is flexible enough that she can still cross her legs at the ankle while seated like a princess. I still gave 5 stars because for a childs large doll she has a lot of joints available for posing. ... show more

The doll was so tall and beautiful. It has been hard to find tall dolls. She is everything that I dreamed of. That was a great price for that type of doll. I loved that the doll is flexuble and has beautiful bright colors and beautiful long hair. She is taller than my nieces. I would recommend her to anyone. Thin hair, sliding away one strand of hair and u will see a little of her scalp, however she has gel on the side so she can keep the signature Rapunzel hairstyle, it looks like on the photo and the material of her dress is good. Her hair is soft but the bald spots are my only complaint. Overall a cute doll. And she comes without shoes which is a nice detail since most of the time in the film she is not wearing them. I have looked at other reviews of her on YouTube and other people received her without shoes so this is just her design. ... show more

I have now purchased this same doll twice per my Granddaughter’s request. The first one, she wore her out. Ratty hair, hands broke off etc. now that she’s 9….. all she ask for this year for her birthday. Hopefully we won’t be as rough this time Highly recommend!!

Ok parents, here's the scoop. This doll is actually really nicely produced for the price point. Here are a few tips and tricks to keep her from being a rat's nest. 1) Unpackage the doll by yourself, carefully. It is a large item and she has interesting hair ties that keep her mane in the box looking nice. Take your time. 2) Make sure to have a wire brush, like an American Girl, Our Generation or wig brush handy. You will thank me later. 3) Have a wig or braid spray handy. This will literally save your doll's hair. 4) When she is out of the box do not remove all of the elastics at once, remove one section's elastics and save these, they're very handy. Once a section is free, spray liberally with the braid spray, you can dilute it to a 1:1 equal parts water and spray. Start brushing from the bottom up, and take it easy, this is a long haul process but will extend the play value of the doll immensely. 5) As you brush each section work your way up to the head, section by section, slowly. You will have pulls and knots that form, it is due to the length and the fact that the head has rooted hair. If a knot forms, brush downward toward the bottom and try to either bring the loose hair all the way down to the bottom and then pull or snip out only the hair that is loose, it will be longer than the regular hair and will be easy to spot. DO NOT CUT CHUNKS OF HAIR. 6) As each section becomes brushed through and sprayed, you will notice it is much easier to brush tangle free and the wig conditioner/braid spray will keep the fibers slick after drying to aid in brushing. It also rinses easy too if you've overdone it with just water in a spray bottle. 7) Once all the hair is brushed section by section, then begin to brush down from the crown. I snipped the tiara out after carefully detangling it, it'll make getting knots out from play much easier. 8) I braided the hair just for ease, but once you do all of this, and I promise it is worth it, your child or you will enjoy playing with her long hair for a long time! ... show more
