Even if you don't want the extra stuff this comes with, the amount of moons you get for the price is a better deal than what is offered in the original game. Plus the extras are cute too.

    • Great game, lackluster bonuses
To start - I *LOVE* Disney Dreamlight Valley. As a huge Disney fan and a huge fan of games like Animal Crossing, I'm thrilled. The gameplay never seems to run out. There's a ton of ways to interact with the characters, fun settings, building your home and decorating, and so much more. I have more than 125 hours played so far, and I still feel I'm just scratching the surface of everything that's possible in this game. If you're a Disney fan and you like farming sims, you definitely want this one! BUT I do have one key frustration - originally, Disney announced this game would be free to play after the early access period ends. They've changed that, so you'll need to buy the game to play. This wouldn't bother me except the game still includes micro-transactions that use additional real-life $$. You'll need to buy moonstones ($50 for 14,500 of them) to unlock extra content. And it's not cheap - many items cost 2500-4000 moonstones. Additionally - if you want to get all the extra downloads, you're going to have to pay for the ENTIRE game multiple times. I bought the ultimate edition a while back for $70... and then again got this cozy edition for $50 this week, because it contained new unlockables I really wanted. This is justified by the fact that each of these versions contains moonstones that match the purchase price. So this cozy edition for $50 includes 14,500 moonstones. Your additional bonuses for this cozy edition include a few skins and a great Cheshire sweater. Plus, a sticker sheet and poster in the box. As a stationery addict, I was super excited for those extras, but the sticker sheet is tiny, and the poster is super plain and folded into so many sections I don't know how you'd ever use it as a poster. Verdict: I'll enjoy the couple of download bonuses in this pack, but overall I'd only recommend it if you are already planning to spend your money on moonstones. Don't have the game already? You can get started with this version - but the standard gold or ultimate editions will get you more content for your money. ... show more

My poor family. I don’t have time for them anymore bc I’m too busy growing and developing my valley. lol. Kidding kidding. But this game is a play-at-your-own-pace game that keeps adding new characters, “challenges”, and features every few months. No pressure. Build it up beautiful, or don’t. Complete all the challenges or just do your own thing. I usually log in about 15 minutes each morning and an hour each night. After 7+ months, I’m still enjoying it and have plenty to do. * this game has an option to purchase additional items and quests. The monetary value of these earned in-game, Moonstones, will not be enough to purchase all the things offered, and the shop changes weekly. I have never spent additional money in the game and have no desire to, but my daughter struggles with wanting everything. Just buyer be aware. ... show more
