I hate being cold and I hate having too much stuff on. Winter is hard for me. Which led me to find the perfect jacket. I decided to try Dewbu after an extensive search and here are my takeaways. Heats up fast and works great for cold, rainy days. Waterproof material kept me dry in the middle of a winter slush/rain shower. I bought the black jacket in size medium. I’m 5’10 , 180lbs. The fit for me was perfect. The fit is true to size, so if you wear heavy sweatshirts or sweaters, may want to consider a size up. It looks great , simply styling - comes with removable shoulder Velcro patches that you can peel off. Cuffed sleeves. The hoodie provides more than enough cover and doesn’t look unnecessarily large - you can actually roll it up and store it away however it does not detach. Has deep zippered pockets for your hands that has key hooks/loops and your collar drawstrings so you never have to take your hands out. Also has zippered pockets on the sleeves - another cool feature to keep something within reach but tucked away. Comes with a battery pack that will last at least 8 hours on low. Battery will take awhile to charge so having an extra one on hand isn’t a bad idea. Since I bought a heated hoodie from them as well so I used the batteries interchangeably. They also offer a car 12v plug using the vehicle’s battery for power; no more freezing while car is warming up. A lot of people have come up to me about the jacket - the glowing on/off button usually catches their eyes. If they are lucky enough I let them try it out! Can’t recommend enough. I waited a few weeks to write a review. This jacket is NICE! The quality of material is very nice, the battery is a digital screen, the jacket is very warm, the charge lasts on full heat probably a good 6 hours on high. I've got numerous people in public comment on my jacket. I got the blue one. I have zero regrets. I wear it almost daily. The sizes are very accurate to size regardless what other reviews say, sizes are spot on your regular. I recommend to everyone who asks. ... show more

I love the jacket great quality! its a little pricy at 150, my right sleeve seems to get hotter then my left isn't working property middle elements are very dime faulty elements, setting wise are ok at low, middle seems not as toasty you pretty much have to have it on high the whole time. great jacket faulty elements battery pack seems to run down pretty quick maybe faulty battery as well. ... show more

We are planning for cold weather in Iceland in November. We wanted cold gear that was also lightweight for the purposes of travel. Therefore, instead of a bulky parka we opted for a water resistant jacket with a heating system. The battery charges by USB-C. It charges quickly, and it has a digital readout on the power level by percentage. It attaches by a power cable in the jacket. There is a button on the LEFT chest that activates the heating system. There are three power levels. The jacket heats up in the chest, shoulders, back, abdomen and arms very quickly. I found that the highest level was very effective to start up the warming process but the middle and lower levels are also very comfortable. There are zippered pockets in the upper arm and distal arm levels for keys, cards or small items. The body pockets are large enough for gloves or hands. It is a comfortable and stylish looking jacket. I like the storable hood. There are high collars that cover my lower face. I found the hood to be appropriate in size. Number 1, this jacket does not require layers, if you wear sweaters and hoodies you won’t feel the heaters, the jacket is designed to work alone with nothing but a T shirt, I wore mines to work with a sweater on and couldn’t feel the heaters, I wore it with a tshirt and was sooo warm in 20 degree weather, try to buy one that fits, you don’t need extra room for more layers the closer the jacket is to skin the better, I normally wear a small but ordered a medium because it was recommended but probably could of ordered a small with a better fit as far as the heat, it’s definitely worth every dime, no fur coat or leather coat can compare for the value your getting with a heated coat, it’s so warm you’ll want to go to sleep!!! The media could not be loaded. Forgot to mention, it seems to run a little large. I ordered a small, which is usually a good snug fit, but this one is baggy. It’s still the best out there especially for the price. I wish it had a standard battery plug so I could use other batteries. I wonder if there is an adapter :-) still the best jacket for the best price just buy it :-) ... show more

Update: jacket fit was good. Looks good and is comfortable. Heats pretty quickly. Have not tested battery life yet, but overall, pleased with the purchase. I think it will be very useful on cool motorcycle rides.
