I work for a refrigeration company and I'm in the walking coolers and freezers some times all day working in front of the evaporator and this jacket works sooo amazing it's game changing got all my coworkers want one can't wait to try this in the rain cause we would grab tools in the rain then go in to freezers and I remember last year being so horrible and I know this jacket will change it the battery life is ok if you leave it on high it will die hafe the day never killed the battery yet I would put it on high warm up then put it on mid for little and then let it set on low and if kept me warn all day and when it got little cold I put it on high again and warmed up you can feel it warm up fast would buy it forsure again the jacket alone with out the heating is warm and super comfortable and durable ... show more

I started working at a tire shop a few months ago which involves me spending a good amount of time in a garage without much heat and outside looking at tires on cars. After the first day it got under 40 I started searching and found this. I've worn it every day since! I like th fact that if I don't have the heat on it can serve as a light jacket on mild days but I can crank it up when I need to. A few days ago it got into the 20s and still kept me warm. I did order an extra battery which I received today as we are in for a very frigid week and this way I should be able to stay on the high setting for my entire shift. As for durability and functionality it hits the mark 110%. I move heavy tires around all day. I have worked in the rain with it and was even able to wash it on the gentle cycle after an ink pen exploded in on of the pockets. Speaking of pockets, it has a ton! This is also great for my job as I can carry tons of tools and gear. There is more storage on this jacket than any I have ever owned. I was a bit hesitant at first because of the price, but this jacket is totally worth it. The quality is amazing, it keeps you warm even without the heater, and it fits true to size. With the heater on, it’s an absolute must-have for cold winter days! The only downsides are that the jacket is quite heavy with the heater and the battery takes a long time to charge but doesn’t last very long. I love this thing, it is worth every penny and then some! I think this is a steal even at retail price, discounted, is a no brainer. Now don't expect to be able to go outside in freezing temps with nothing on but this jacket, without insulation you'll freeze cause it has none. The heat warms up the layers you are wearing and in turn warms you. The point is so you don't have to wear seven layers to stay warm. Just one maybe two layers and this jacket is all you need. (One or two layers because everyone is different). Typically for my neck of the woods a t-shirt and a medium weight synthetic sweatshirt is all the insulation I need for those days that drop down in to the 20°s, more insulation if colder or very windy or both. If this thing can make me start sweating when it's 14° and I am only snowblowing,... It's a good jacket. The 75D fabric (more on that below) has good abrasion resistance I am always rubbing up against things at work and there are no signs of any wear. It blocks wind until 30+mph, on gusty days I feel some of that wind make it's way through the fabric, it's very light, but I feel it. On days like those wear a synthetic or wool base layer it will help. So say there is a day in the upper teens, low twenties with a 15-20 mph wind, gusts 20+. I personally would wear a base layer and a mid layer. The Jacket sizing runs true to size, I bought it in Large to have extra room for layers when I go snowboarding. I would have bought this in a Medium if I didn't have snowboarding in mind. I messaged Dewbu about the denier rating. I was curious. All Dewbu's soft shell jackets have a denier rating of 75. The battery life is pretty spot on to what Dewbu advertises. After doing some "testing" at work, Low lasts 10 hours, Medium lasts 7 hours, High lasts 4 hours. Do not launder this without a laundry bag, you'll ruin the jacket. Remember to remove the battery and zip up the battery cable. Also, the power bank takes 3.5 hours to charge from 0-100% with a 2 amp charger. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ... show more

I bought this for my husband who works outside in the cold. This jacket exceeded my expectations! The jacket has kept him warm all day! The battery lasted during his 12-14 hour shifts. I would recommend this jacket for anyone wanting to stay warm! The sizing is true to size.

You’ll need to buy “their” power bank to heat your coat. Apparently the manufacturer wants to be Apple and make their coat operate on their special power brick. I have several bricks and thought I would be able to use them as back ups for my newest heated coat. Nope. The cord that plugs the coat into the power brick is a stupid barrel plug. This is my third heated coat and the first one that uses this type of plug. Ridiculous. I am really thinking about returning this due to the cord incompatibility. The coat heats nicely and looks nice. I like that the patches on the arm are removable. I don’t want to advertise this coat and the manufacturer doesn’t want me to either (back to the cord issue). It has no insulation and is very thin material. If you think you’re going to be warm without turning the coat on think again. I like the removable hood. This jacket will you keep you warm very well! The battery pack lasts me 2 full days on high before needing to charge it. The designated battery pocket is a great feature! I love the Velcro patches on the side and how easily it is to clean. Great jacket!
