BEST BLADE IVE USED at work everyday I use them more like an exacto knife at work i seperate screen printed parts after applying 3m adhesive to the back in order to seperate the parts a precision cut only cut through the 3m liner and not go through the part keeping the edges integrity on all parts so the dye can be used to cut them out next. Everyday at work i do this with about 500-1000 parts. i did not want to spend $40 for lenox 100 pack ($0.40 each) and got these for $12 for 75 pack ($0.16 each) they both are very sharp, the tips of the lenox blades were not as strong, about 25% of them had chipped very tips.im only talking about the very tip the entire edge was fine but again im using like an exacto knife, unlike the lenox this dispenser works better than any other brand ive used period. every single blade ive used so far has lasted 2-3 days on a single blade and average the tips staying perfectly sharp for about 2000-3000 cuts. These are consistantly the best utility blade ive came across the past decade at work. ... show more

These blades work with my DeWalt box knife perfectly. They fit perfectly and retract easily as they should. Changing out is a breeze. If you buy blades from other manufacturers, which I have, they may not work at all, some do not even fit at all. There are videos showing how to correct a DeWalt box cutter to make these substandard poorly made blades fit by filing parts of the inside of the cutter down. STUPID STUPID STUPID. For a buck saving you are simply wasting your valuable time. DeWalt my not always get it right but don't waste your money on substandard imitations, these blades are the one's to buy. ... show more

I mainly use these for household purposes (i.e. cutting up my boxes from Amazon purchases). After moving a few months ago, I misplaced my "generic" box cutter and picked up a Dewalt one during a trip to Lowe's. Based on the performance on my old one, I'd need replacements soon, so I purchased the same blades that came with the cutter (this item). 4-5 months later, I haven't even used up the 5 that came with the cutter. I buy these every couple of months and go through a blade about every 3 or 4 days. I work in a place that gets lots of parts, so lots of boxes to open. I also use them at home for carpet and other stuff, but mostly at work. I've tried many brands and many knives, without a doubt these are the best, especially paired with Dewalt's knives. These are extremely sharp and well worth the price. And the answer to the question is - to get the blades out you lightly tap the container on a solid surface. One will move into the chamber and you pull the bottom part open and viola! ... show more

It’s Dewalt, Made in the USA, what more do you want! Seriously though, I don’t go through these nearly as fast as other blades and they don’t easily break off when I misuse them for purposes (not illegal) other than what the manufacturer would suggest they be used for.
