    • The Dewalt TSAK system is great, this review is really about the whole system.
This tool box was one of the first pieces I got. It's big, deep and well made. There are more than enough photos and videos in the reviews here on the various components of the Dewalt TSTAK system to be able to decide if something fits your needs. I bought everything including the base with wheels. I can say I'm very satisfied with the quality of everything. I needed a system like this having found all sorts of tools and bits and pieces in the room I turned into my studio. Lots were too good to throw out but not organized and taking up space. When I found this Dewalt system I knew I had what I needed to get all the tools, etc organized. Now everything is in one place, sorted, easily accessible and mobile. I love the base with wheels. It really adds an extra dimension to the whole system. Either individually or combined, everything in this system is well made and fits together securely. When I first opened my Amazon packaging to see my DeWalt for the first time, I was in awe at how stylish and large it was. Before I even started loading my tools inside of the box, I knew they would all fit without a problem. One of the first things I was cautious about was the performance of the metal latches. I’ve had not-so-good experience with metal latches on other toolboxes before, so my hope was that these were better constructed to last. So far, they have proven to be solid and well-functioning. Pros: A wonderful toolbox for less than $50! At $34, this is well-worth the investment! Beautiful black and yellow design (classic, well-recognized DeWalt colors!) Light-weight Tons of storage space. Enough room for more than 30 of my tools and my Black and Decker drill and charger. Sleek folding handle makes it easy to grasp and carry wherever I need to go. I love that it is stackable with other DeWalt TSTAK family products. While I don’t yet have any other DeWalt products, knowing that this is an option is nice. Cons: The top compartment could be bigger. It does not span the entire length of the tool box which eliminates extra space I could have had to store more of my drill bits, etc. No wheels or pull handle. One disadvantage to packing in a ton of tools into this product’s large belly is that the toolbox gets very heavy very quickly. A pull handle and wheels on this product would make it easier to move around. With all of my tools now packed into the toolbox, it weighs in excess of 50 lbs. Although I’ve only had this for just under a week, I’m already thoroughly impressed with its design, durability, and storage capacity. For $34.99, it is absolutely one of the best investments I’ve made. I now look forward to using it with any project around the house as any tool I could possibly need will be safely stored and readily available inside this tool box’s large belly.     • Great budget box
Great little tool box. It holds quite a bit of smaller parts up top and a lot of space for medium-sized tools in the bottom. Holds a good amount of weight too without the handle ever giving out or showing any issues. I do not think the top compartment is watertight so be careful what you keep there.
