I love the TSTAK III, I picked up the roller and seven of the drawers/chests. They are plastic, but nice plastic that do stand up to ware. The drawers are nice and the shallower drawers come with very nice dividers. I dont care for the removable bins that come with the deep drawers though, so i just tossed them out. But honestly, well worth the investment. I'm a DIYer and i do my own automotive maintenance as well so my tool storage needs are not great. I'm able to store everything i own and its very mobile. The footprint on this tool box is small enough to fit wherever it needs while its depth provides plenty of room for storage and the tray on top provides nice organizational separation. I currently keep my regularly used hand tools in the try and a bunch of hardware, larger tools and some electric tools in the primary compartment. I can even fit my entire Dremel carrying case inside with everything else. Quality is good, it even has an oddly nice smell every time I open it that just feels right - equivalent to that 'new car' smell but for tool boxes. My old 'standard' tool box is now full of soldering supplies and this one is for the rest of my small collection of tools. I also like how it is part of a series with other boxes in different configurations that can stack. I haven't acquired any of those yet but suspect I someday will. ... show more

Really useful -- and attractive -- design. Sturdy. Lots of molded-in reinforcing ribs. Interesting stacking mechanism, though I haven't stacked any. Big enough to hold most of my photography gear (I made internal removable shelves.) I purchased the Dewalt shallow drawer toolbox (DWST17804) to store my son’s Tomica train cars. The drawers pull out smoothly in/out, and has a positive locking feature which I love and is easy to use. There is a mechanical latch you have to press in order to open the drawers. The dividers are not flimsy; they are sturdy enough to organize parts to Keep them in place when opening/closing the drawers. I had originally bought the Husy 2-drawer 13-compartment but returned it due to drawers so not open and close smoothly (the drawer slides stick). also, the dividers do not fit properly, they bow out of shape and are flimsy. Glad I returned it and purchased the dewalt drawers. Though husky drawers have bigger space, I am overall happy with this dewalt box. ... show more

I've been using this around the house for a couple of weeks now. Pros: solid design, it can fit a lot of larger tools, the tray makes a great place for smaller items, it can be used as a step stool during projects because it's very sturdy. Cons: the tray supports are very thin so you may find yourself dumping the tray into the bottom of the box if you don't place it evenly when setting it in the box, the latches can be sticky, sharp edged and hard to open. But the cons are minor compared to the sturdiness and overall ease of use. ... show more

Cavernous...I put two 20V tools with their blades/bits/discs in each case and there's still enough room left over for a charger, batteries and probably a third or even fourth smaller tool. Includes a label holder on the front and labels for labeling the contents. Pretty pungent smell on the inside when new but just let them air out overnight. Sturdy and stackable! ... show more
