It also has 2-piece metal front latches for added durability when securing tools inside the box. It is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance and has a 110 lb. load capacity. The toolbox has a removable inner tray for optimal organization. The ToughSystem® 2.0 Extra Large Toolbox is backwards compatible with any ToughSystem® product.

I have 2 of these to keep some things on my patio in the NorthEast. There very durable and so far and waterproof against wind and rain. I just wish the snap of the latches hurt my fingers so much every time I open them. I’m not sure why it happens, but the latch flips up w/ tremendous force and somehow it clips my fingers. I’ll have to use a towel or something from now on. I guess the tight seal is the trade off. ... show more

    • MY ISSUE WAS WITH THE SELLER/SHIPPER...
This DeWalt Toolbox is great. Exactly what I needed. However, I had to leave this feedback because the condition of exactly how I received this Storage/Tool Box was just ridiculous and unacceptable. I almost never leave a review, but I wanted to warn potential buyers just in case. This toolbox which is made of basically hardened/thick plastic was just simply placed, bare, inside a cardboard box. With nothing else to support or protect it from potential damage. I understand that even styrofoam can be costly, but NOT even any bubble wrap, no tissue? I mean old newspapers would have done the trick. I was equally shocked and pissed!! If anyone knows how easily these boxes can crack, then you understand why I am making a fuss about this. If this toolbox just happened to bump into something, or even happened to be stacked improperly, then some damage could have occurred while the item is in transit. This was just unprofessional from my perspective. Fortunately, there seems to be no damage after inspecting the box. But buyer beware.... I am not kidding..... A plain cardboard box and nothing else...... ... show more
