If you need to have a tape on you and not really use it much, get this product, but if you need to be getting the tape every minute this is not good, don’t recommend it, it is to tied and the tape don’t come in and out easy, like me claiming stepladder then using only one hand it is a fight every time I need the tape. Read some of the reviews and was a little concerned about buying it. But after I received it I learned it was great. Not sure who would dewalt one stair, but I am sure they didn’t get this product.

+Fits the Fatmax tapes, especially the bigger ones like 35 and 40 ft +Tough Construction +Snap, elastic, and hole locations work well -Belt loop is a bit too wide, and is sewn shut instead of a snap -Expensive This tape holder feels and looks like it was made for my 40 ft fatmax tape measure. It is a big sturdy holder for a big sturdy tape. This combination is almost obnoxiously big on my belt, but it works great on the jobsite. Very nice to hold tape measure and screw drivers. Gave it 4 stars because the button does not last long and breaks very fast. If it had a magnet /velcro instead of a snap button it would work better. I have purchased two of these and the buttons broke on both.

I've had this product now for roughly 2 years I work in a plumbing company and this thing can take a beating. When it comes to running around or jumping into a pit the tape stays locked in as long as you have the strap locked on. This also holds my knife and a marker so when I need to make measurements or cut anything it's right there. I went through more work boots and tape measures in the past 2 years than I can count but this is the only thing that I've only had to purchase once. It's a great buy. Its a good tape holder. Its just a bit shallow for what's advertised as a large tape holder. But I use it every day. The tape (fat maxx) only falls out when my belt is off and on the ground or something. When I'm actually working its fine. Its also very easy to grab the tape, use it, and put it back. ... show more

Great pouch! It can fit up to a 35’ tape measure. The littles holders on the side come really useful for sharpies or clips for gloves! Very durable. This my 2nd one. I really like it.
