This fan works really great, I love that it's magnetic back sticks to my steam deck so that I don't have to hold it there while I play. Some of my games make my steam deck run very hot and this cools it down super fast. Worth the money.

The only thing I can say about this fan that I was not completely happy about was the fact that it does not have a built in battery. I missed that it didn't so that was my fault. I bought this because my ASUS rog gets really hot whenever I play. It advertises itself as a steam deck and ASUs cooler but there’s just a couple of big flaws. The first flaw were the clear double sided tape that they had. It can barely stick and the curvature of the rog makes it impossible for it to actually clip into it. You can’t fully put the cooler onto it as well. This item is marketed as a steam deck and ASUS cooler. Can’t control the rgb and it is also really loud. When the fans are going they also blow air on your fingers which is also kinda annoying. The cord for it is a usb to usb c which means that you’ll either have to plug it to a outlet or a portable battery. The only good thing about it is that when it’s on it cools it down really well. I bought this not for a Steam deck, but for iPad that overheats and screen dims when used outdoors while flying a drone - this cools the iPad sufficiently & then some to avoid the device from overheating, dimming the screen or even shutting off. Works well. Will get another for some of the other devices that have overheating issues. Need one in smaller formfactor as well for phones.... ;) ... show more

Fan does not spin. I left it on to see if there is a auto on off on the fan. Nope. Heatsink is to hot to touch. Ordered a replacement. Lets hope it works. Update 1 year after purchase. The replacement unit works great. Keeps my galaxy tab s cool to the touch. Used it my laptop( ghetto rigged), HP mini pc( metal case), and on my rog ally. Satisfied overall. I wasn't really expecting a significantly noticable difference in temperature. And, I am rather impressed that it was able to bring it down so much that it felt cool to the touch (slightly warmer than cool) but if you were to put your hands over the exhaust ports, those would be blowing super hot. So, is it bringing the system down as though you put a cooler right on the Cpu? No. It is making a noticable difference; better than I'd hope, even. ... show more
