2005 F150 FX4 I had a bugger of a time trying press in the ball joint on the driver's side. Ended up having to buy a seperate ball joint because I tore off the boot getting it installed. Also the tie rods were too long for my application. The Alignment shop had to cut them off, because they bottomed out inside the tie rod end and it was still 2" out of toe. Not that big of a deal but I still had to pay the shop $50 per side to do it for me. So if you are already mechanically inclined enough to put all this on and you have the same truck cut off the tie rods before you install. Save ya a little money at the Alignment shop. ... show more

    • sent me the wrong inner tire rod and boot cover
Bought the entire kit for the front end. inner tie rods are to, to, to long. and sent the wrong boot covers. Everything else was right. Just getting them on in between rain, snow, sleet and extremely rusty parts that I had to cut off. Happy with everything else. Hope they last a long long time.     • Tie rod ends were too long
After installing this kit, I took it to a shop for an alignment. They couldn't do it, because the tie rod ends were too long, and unable to adjust enough to function properly. Ended up having to paying the mechanic at the shop several hundred dollars more, to put new (and proper) tie rod ends in.

    • Won't properly align
After install I took my truck to an alignment specialist. The inner and outer tie rods were unable to be adjusted short enough to properly align. Took oem parts to the shop for comparison. Outer tie rod ends clearly longer than oem didn't worry about comparing the inner tie rod end, too much time was already wasted. Wrong parts in the package cost me money and mechanics time. ... show more

    • Tie rods that are in the kit are not correct.
The inner tierods are about 1 inch too long which then I couldn't get an alignment. Had to purchase different tierods - would like to get reimbursed $72.00 and $12.00 in shipping. Everything else fit perfectly. Please contact me by e-mail as the parts are being returned this week.

    • Not for REAL 4x4
I do not recommend for a 4x4 that actually sees dirt and has to take on puddles and bumps. After one year, I had to replace a arm bushings and now looking to replace the rest of these parts.

I installed the kit and had it professional checked. Took on a short trip with my kids and upper came off causing tire to fall face down and went into on coming traffic and into the ditch. Ruined everything bumper tire wheel and all. Defiantly will not ever buy from them again. And they won’t do crap about it say installed wrong ... show more
