The media could not be loaded. Put together in about 25-30 mins. Easy enough. Should've been about 15 mins . I had the back upside down so that took an extra 5-10 mins to figure out so be sure to double check bc the top wont fit if its upside down. Be sure not to tighten until all the pieces are together. Pieces of the rattan are loose and definitely will invite chewing. It's definitely not as heavy duty as your standard "jail" cage but it looks 1000% better. The tray came damaged and is definitely flimsy. Because this was not a cheap crate, I will be requesting a replacement. For the money, this should be a quality tray. It's beautiful but I dont know how durable it will be. My dog clearly is disinterested in this fancy crate. He loves his crate --however, I dont--so I hope he takes to it and doesnt decide to destroy it. I'll update after my dog uses it and speaking with customer service. ***UPDATE*** Customer service was great. I received a partial refund for the damaged crate pan; HOWEVER, the pan is NOT a standard size and it impossible to find a pan that fits the crate. A Medium is too small and a Large is too big. The bottom of the crate is wide gapped wires so a pan is needed. While I love the crate itself and its holding up fine for my 56lb bulldog, finding a replacement crate pan has been a real challenge. **Update 2** The too small pan replacement will not work and the thinner supports broke in back. I went to Lowe’s and had a thick piece of plywood cut. The measurements are 21.4 x 33. Do yourself a favor and get the wood bc if the pan is ever damage you won’t be able to find a replacement. He thinks his new crate pad is a chew toy smh lol ... show more

    • Cost vs Quality = NO GO

I was disappointed when I received this item as the measurements are not correct at all, and it had a powerful chemical smell. The ad showing a photo of a Golden Retriever and a 2nd dog to reflect size is VERY deceiving. There is no way someone could comfortably put 2 dogs in this crate. I have a growing puppy who is currently 40 lbs, and he will outgrow this crate quickly as it is not as big as expected. The door and latch mechanism are extremely cheap and not sturdy, so if you have a rambunctious pup, this is not a good option. The platform under the crate tray is a fragile material and arrived bent and odd-shaped; the tray really is the bottom of the crate, so buy a bed for it, so your pup is comfortable. I purchased this bed for the tray, and it's a PERFECT fit...Milliard Quilted Padded Orthopedic Dog Bed, Egg Crate Foam with Plush Pillow Top Washable Cover (41 inches x 27 inches x 4 inches). All in all, for the cost, I would say no to this item. I expected a much better product and the "large" crate to be bigger based on photos and the measurements stated. For us, the cost vs. quality is a disappointment but will have to do for now. ... show more

    • DON’T BUY FOR YOUR LARGE DOGS.

If you’re dog is over 40 lbs. Do not get this. The bottom is not sturdy at all and broke from my 65lbs Shepard stepping out of it. I ordered the medium for my bulldog and she chewed the rattan off in 1 month and the bottom has completely cracked up. For smalls dogs? Perfect!

    • Good for a mellow dog
Size: Medium - 23"W x 25"H
I have a senior dog that isn't really active, so I have the gate tucked in for him to come and go, and it's never really locked because he doesn't need it. He's about size of your standard pit bull and has plenty of room in the medium size crate. It's a good size for him, and I wouldn't want to put a bigger dog inside. When I had this outside, it was great because it's waterproof and it's light enough to move around. It's honestly too dark and absorbs the heat so if you experience triple-digit weather, this is not going to help. That being said, my dog is not a chewer and doesn't try to escape his crate; I wouldn't trust this crate until the dog is fully crate-trained. I gave it 5 stars, because after moving it around a whole bunch and placing things on top of it, there hasn't been any damage, scratches, nor anything that has gotten loose. My dog is getting thick around the waist and it's still holding despite the bottom bars looking thin. But honestly, if you are buying this, you are buying it for its looks and not because you need a heavy-duty crate. You want something more aesthetically pleasing for your patio or something to match the chic minimalistic slightly tropical theme you're going for in your living room. ... show more

    • Good for smaller dogs!

PROS: I have a small Shorkie (10lb) that is non-destructive and hes been loving his new cage! The plastic wicker material gives it more air flow and the windows give him a place to peep out. This was the perfect cage especially in the hotter weather because it looks decorative but also is approved by my dog. I would say this would be great for pups that don’t mind or destroy cages. CONS: The only negative thing is that it did take some time to assemble. Some of the pieces don’t slot together as easily as others so you might have to play around with the pieces before they can screw together properly. ... show more

Very nice in my living room. Plenty of room for my golden doodle. She is a puppy and she dies chew along the side pieces which are plastic. Wish it was a tighter weave to prevent that. Other than that fact it is really nice. I put it together myself but I’m kinda super hero ish. It would be easier with two people for sure 😉 ... show more

Really like the design of this, but the door is junk. Cheaply made and doesn’t open and close the best. Already trying to come up with a plan to replace. Other than that, it’s great!

Putting it together was not hard, but you have to get it square. At first, my smaller dachshund growled at it, he wasn't quite sure. My other dachshund, was a bit timid as well. BUT, they slept in it last night, first night and had so much room. I have 2 miniature dachshunds, weighing 14 pounds each. I bought the medium size "cage crate". I put their blankets in it and they both slept so good. My only con is the top doesn't open for easy access, but other than that, it is great. ... show more
