Definitely reduces road and wind noise and improved the sound of my entertainment system. Driving 60 now sounds like driving 30! And it seems to hold the cool air longer. The rear cab of my gladiator was a little more difficult to install, but that’s not really a complaint. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to reduce noise, improve environmental conditions and increase quality of sound from speaking to music.     • Spend a little more and get the full hardtop interior roof insulation.

Even if you are a little OCD, you will not like this kit. I got the full kit including the side window frames, I wish I hadn’t. The cuts are off just a little here and there which was my first concern. Second was their warning of “don’t stretch the material” when applying. The problem is, at least with my kit, sometimes the material wouldn’t come apart from the adhesive backing. Because of the extra strength needed, it would get stretched. The shape would change just a tad and that lead to wrinkles in the material I would have to try and reshape. I will say this, their adhesive is top notch. If it wasn’t, I would have pulled it off, reapply the backing and returned. The adhesive is so good, after just a short time if you would try to remove the material it tears and falls apart, the reason I feel struck with this product. It does block heat and sound on the areas it covers. All areas that remains white, still hot to the touch in the Florida sun and radiating heat. For this reason as well as wanting a more professional/factory installed look, I wish I would have spent a little more and went with the full interior roof package another company offers. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. Since you have to take the roof off for this install, go with the other better product that requires roof removal as well. ... show more

First off I used a Killmat 80 mil first layer to eliminate vibration/reverberation of the roof panel sections which alone makes a huge difference. That being said, it doesn't do everything and its the combo of these two products that really make an eye-popping difference. The thick multi-layer foam in this kit levels everything out and I heard a huge difference in my Jeep Gladiator as soon as I started driving. I was going over bumps and rough roads that normally I would hear flexing/creaking/vibes from the roof panels. That was all gone. In addition the multiple layers of foam on top help eliminate echo's inside and although not a lexus, my whole family noticed the quiet sound and ease of conversation on the highway. The feel/appearance looks great to me and will even out quickly. Pictures are right after everything was installed at each step, but even if the don't I like the look and feel. LOVE the sound difference. Easy install, although I removed the whole top to do pre-wipes with IPA and a microfiber cloth. As others have mentioned this product has a VERY strong adhesive that if you somehow managed to get stuck to itself will be very difficult to unstick if not impossible. I have been very impressed with these panels. The main thing they have done is made my Jeep cabin more cozy by reflecting and holding heat versus the regular hardtop. The noise reduction value is noticeable but you're only going to get so much noise reduction in a Jeep. Biggest thing is again reflecting sound from radio making it much more listenable and my wife says we're talking at much more normal volumes on the highway rather than shouting at each other. Installation is fairly easy. One person can do it but two is better. Only complaint was the edges were not always cut just right to match the panel cutouts but a razor blade can fix that. I chose white and it blends in very well with the hardtop inside. Hardly notice it now. Highly recommend! ... show more
