The one thing I noticed with this piece is is a little "light" in terms of weight compared to some of the Dept. 56 buildings. If your a long time collector like I am you will know what I mean. The media could not be loaded. I love all of my Department 56 pieces! I spent a couple of years staring at the castle and last year I finally broke down and ordered it. I’m so glad I did. I do a Harry Potter themed Christmas and this is probably my favorite part now. I have not had any issue with quality or pieces not working. ... show more

The has is just as promised. I'm giving 5 stars because I should have read descriptions better. This is not a typical dept 56 where you expect ceramic its resin. Its looks great but I feel for what dept 56 is charging it should be half this price
