I have had other Democracy jeans in this style and fit and really like them. With this particular pair the zipper sticks a little so I'll need to watch it to be sure it doesn't break, but it's the first time I've experienced that out of at least 6 pairs. The waist is forgiving because it's so stretchy. I can button a 10 and still be mostly comfortable, but a 12 is more comfortable with enough snugness so it doesn't feel the pants will fall down or feel loose. There's a slight gap in the back that I hoped the elastic waist would help with. As a pear-shaped woman, this is a common issue with jeans. The length is good and the jeans are stretchy and comfortable. Reminds me a lot of my Wit & Wisdom jeans. I took off a star because the blue dye of the jeans rubs off on my hands. I absolutely adore these! They're my new favorite jeans! The comfort and stretch but also just how good they look on the butt and legs! I had been between size 12 and 14 when I purchased these in a 12. Now I'm a 12 and they still fit great regardless of losing 5 lbs! These are my new favorite jeans. They fit wonderfully and the hidden elastic waist band is genius. They are very comfortable and look great. I just wish they were at a slightly lower price point - I’d buy them in every color.

These jeans are fantastic. I'm 5'4, curvy hips. These jeans it well, are super comfortable and do not ride up. I'm buying 2more pairs!!

These did not fit me proportionally correct. Right in the calves compared to the upper leg area. Kind of slouchy from knee up.
