  • Love the color!

I needed two rolls to fully cover my banquet table. It’s fairly easy to apply and the the finished product looks great!

  • Good but it has purple specs that won't show up in the pictures
I'm a novice at these but it was easy. I liked that the stickiness was forgiving, you could raise it up a few times if something went wrong and it would lay back okay. However, once you get a crinkle in it, the lines will stay. Not sure if it's possible to get it out with a hair dryer. I love the gloss that it comes with that makes it look top quality but there are purple colored specs that seem to disappear when you use the camera. I feel like the purple cheapens it a slight bit and would've looked better without it but it's still okay. I haven't tested any stains so far but it does seem durable. The thickness is also good for me but for example, when I tried covering two wall angles with the same strip of paper and I didn't lay the paper flat so there was like a gap of air in the middle with the paper lifting off the walls and I tried to smooth it (while both paper ends were already secured/placed already) the paper will tear but to be honest I would consider that user error. Just make sure you smooth everything as you're laying the paper down and not after the paper has been laid already. Huge shout out to the person who said that the paper ends layer well. You don't really have to worry about telling where the paper ends and the new one begins. I also used that as an opportunity to cut out any little pieces that I felt I didn't lay properly and would just redo the small piece instead of undoing the entire section over! ... show more

  • Not impressed
Size: 17.7" x 197" Color: White
Relatively easy to work with and apply, but does not stick well. I’ve had it on my countertop now for 3 weeks, and it’s already lifting.

  • Impressive bathroom counter makeover on a small budget.
Size: 17.7" x 118" Color: White
I am amazed at how well this works to brighten up the look of my bathroom at minimal cost. The material is thick and adheres very well once it's dry. The light gray granite pattern is very forgiving; small mistakes can be easily rectified, and they're not obvious. The only issue I had was trying to expose too much backing before it was ready to be laid down on the surface. Once it sticks to itself, it's very hard to unstick without wrinkling the contact paper. Here are some tips I used to help with the installation process: - Watch a couple of installation videos to get an idea of how to lay down the paper. - Make sure the surface you're working with is CLEAN. Wash it down several times. - Dampen the surface with soapy water so you have working time with the paper. The contact paper is very sticky and hard to unstick if you don't do this step, and you'll get frustrated. A wipe-down with a squeegee will push water out once you have it in place. The side edges where the paper folds down to cover do not need to be wet, just a slight dampness to readjust if necessary. - Use a small overlap of about a 1/4 inch when joining contact paper. The seam will be hard to see when done. - Use a sharp blade to cut the paper. You'll want a pair of sharp scissors too. - When it comes to cutting around the sink basin, take it slow. Lay down the paper, cover the basin loosely, cut the larger parts of the interior of the basin hole with scissors, then leave a one to two-inch margin from the edge of the basin. Make tab cuts about every inch or two to allow some give into the basin edges. Then slowly install the paper and work in the edges the best you can. Cut slowly around the basin edge, and it should all fall into place. If you cut a bit too wide, you can probably find a small patch to cover it. It hides well. - Don't worry about small wrinkles and mistakes. They will be hard to see. - Buy an extra roll, just in case. - Once installed, squeegee out the excess water the best you can and give it time to dry. Stubborn trapped bubbles can be eliminated by making a small clean slice through them with a sharp razor, then flattening them down gently. It's manual work but very doable. The overall outcome is quite impressive. At a quick glance, it looks like the real deal and even feels like it. The contact paper is thick and smooth. Personally, I like the overall results. The process wasn't too difficult, but it was work. Soap and water helped tremendously, as well as some patience. For $20 and a couple of hours of work, the outcome was worth it. ... show more

  • This has a nice retro "70's" vibe!
Size: 17.7" x 118" Color: White
I purchased this contact paper to cover my existing kitchen countertops. This style/pattern gives my kitchen a 70's retro vibe. T It was relatively simple to adhere and is renter friendly. If/when I move, I can remove the contact paper. Or I can swap it for another style in the future.

  • Used this to cover card table works fabulous
Size: 17.7" x 118" Color: Glossy White
I use this to cover a card table that was ripped up and I taped down all the rips and then installed this in two strips over the table, and it looks marvelous. All of my bunco friends were very impressed!

  • This stuff is a nightmare
Size: 17.7" x 118" Color: White
You get what you pay for, I suppose. This contact paper was very difficult to peel. The paper backing came off in little slivers. At one point, I was using my thumb nail to scrape off little bits, like I was trying to remove a price sticker. (Meanwhile, the paper is curling around my hands and sticking to itself.) Despite its stickiness, it doesn't completely adhere to my shelves and pops up at the edges. Try another brand! ... show more
