I purchased the 10-panel version with multiple uses in mind. I'm using 7 panels to create a dog play pen and the remaining 3 panels as a fence. The fence is securely anchored to the ground, which provides good stability. The dog pen might seem a bit flimsy since I'm only using the poles to attach the panels, but surprisingly, the poles are doing a great job of keeping everything in place, even on concrete, so there is no need for me to take any additional measures by using cable ties. These panels retain their flexibility for potential future uses. Or here is my recommendation, put the poles upside down using the ball end as bottom to hold panels. I was worried it would be too short, but this is the perfect height. I'm 5'3 it stops above my knees, which is great because with being short I didn't want the fence way too tall. Has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy. Easy assembly, I'll update with more pictures once I install. Good investment! Shipping was fast, but my box was damaged. No fault of merchant, that falls solely on amazon Delivery. All in all happy There was nothing wrong with my original review, don't want an honest review do a better job at packaging & shipping. I am documenting amazons attempt to hide their shipping issues & failures in reviews by denying them, merchants should be aware of how their products are being shipped & presented to customers. ... show more

I like to take pictures with my reviews but in this case I can't provide a visual. I wanted this metal fencing to block off part of my yard that has always been neglected and is just pure dirt and weeds and crap. When we are lucky (or in some cases unlucky due to mud) and get rain that area turns into a mud pit that my 3 dogs can't seem to resist. I've been meaning to spruce that area up and make a path and have plants/grass but it hasn't happened yet and I'm sick of my dogs going over there. So, up goes the fencing. It's tall enough to deter my 90 pound Standard Poodle and it looks nice. But you can't see it because everything near the fencing is embarrassing. You'll have to trust me. It's really nice for what it is but it won't keep out a rushing water buffalo and the it doesn't come with a gate so I have to get creative wondering how to get my lawnmower from the front to the back. Anyway, I like it and I can see myself buying another set later on to add to this one and do something decorative in the yard. ... show more

These are miracle workers for me. I have ordered several of these "garden fence" packs to finish out protecting my yard and animals. I raise a rare breed of dog, however, they are terribly smart and energetic their entire life. A characteristic of the breed, exceptionally fun and playful, herd, and if not mature or trained will chase down small animals as their herding nature demands. Problem: young dogs will possibly injure my other animals, specifically chickens and cats. They are contained but dig, dig, dig and one has found she can dig her way under a fence. She got out every week at least twice. Luckily, she has not got the kill instinct like her grandfather did and luckily her three siblings are as smart or adventurous. Why all the info about my dogs? Surprised by how sturdy this fence is. I had it out of the box and into the yard in 15 minutes. I arranged mine against the fence to make a nice long run for my Chihuahua. I put it right next to my deck and under a huge Oak Tree. It feels like it has even more space, this way. I put down plywood covered with artificial carpet. I was able to put his little house in there, along with a pee pad. Now he has a little apartment of his own. He is only out back when I am, but he does like his privacy. LOL. Not only impressed by the sturdiness - it is beautiful, as well. I expected a 'Wire Hanger' strength because that is what most of them are. Not this one! It is thick and heavy. The stakes are heavy duty and go deeper into the ground. No worries about him (or me) knocking it over. I'm able to change everything out, no problems. This is a really good enclosure system for outdoors. It’s high quality and easy to put into the ground. Set up takes only a couple of minutes. The only issue I have is that 5-panels are simply not enough for even a small animal; the enclosure feels like a temporary holding cell instead of a playground. We put our rabbit inside and there’s really not a lot of space for it to run around. On the other hand, if you have a patio and just need a wall to enclose it then it works wonderfully. I also used it indoors but had to pad the bottom of the steel rods with tape so as not to scratch the wooden floor. I wish the manufacturer would provide some sort of sleeve for the bottom of the rods so they can also be used indoors easily. All in all I would recommend this product. ... show more
