The lettering was supposed to be embroidered, but was not. I am not displeased. I tried it on (Maid of honor) and it was quality lace and the lettering is cute and glittery. I am sure she will love it. I went with this one because normally the ribbon-type fabric is too lightweight and falls off and gets annoying. It will serve my purpose. Too bad they don't make one that has a head band or wreath on top of it with flowers. I had to go elsewhere to complete my look. The veil is just a plain old veil. I was trying to make a gag gift for a bridal shower besides them main one on a paper plate with ribbons on it. Maybe it should say BRIDE TO BE on the sash instead of just bride. Perfect for bachelorette party! The veil has a little clear plastic hair comb that can easily slide into place to hold the veil on. Would work best with an updo but if you wore your hair down and teased it then pinned the comb in place you could probably wear your hair down with it. The sash is sewn so you have to slip in on. The veil is very well made for a bridal shower it has the trim around the edges and made with a comb to stay in the hair. Then the sash is black or dark navy blue with the writing in silver. I choose this one because my daughter is wearing a cute little white dress to the bridal brunch and all of the other sashes were white and I didn’t think they would show up as well on her dress! It is very well made for a casual brunch and would hold up well!
