    • Hard acrylic cover molded perfectly.
First off I have to be honest and say I did have sticker shock at first. But let me tell you after having it on my Komplete S49 controller for several months now it is close to the best investment I've ever made in gear. I have a recording desk with a section that pulls out made for keyboards, controllers and even with air filter system im always wiping dust off of this cover. And I've had some close calls with spills. I can't imagine how much dirt gets down in between all the crevasses and spaces over 5 to 10 years. Yikes! It is money well spent. The only negative is that I can't find the same thing for my ATOM SQ, m And my Presonus Monitor Station and several other pieces of gear. They are worth every penny. So suck it up buttercup and getcha one, thank me later. ... show more

    • perfect protection
I have a S49 and on my setup in my studio, it sit's a little exposed on the stand. This cover is terrific. I reached for a heavy book on a bookshelf and dropped it on the cover. Bang!! came right off and no damage on the S49. Worth the price!!

The item fits and works just as it should, just as my other deck savers do. The only issue I had was that it arrived scratched up, with some rather deep gashes.

The only reason why i'm rating this a 3 is not because of the product but because it was not advertised as a scratch and dent sale because that what I received, a lot of scratches and a big ident on the left front corner as if someone left it in the summer sun.

    • Good but overpriced
This is a piece of plastic. It works well to protect the NI S49 Komplete Kontrol. It's basically 50.00 overpriced. This is the reason for the 3 stars. I should only give it two but I'm being generous because it does work but it's still just a piece of plastic. A very over priced piece of plastic. The company has a monopoly on a product that does what this product does. No one seems to produce another cover. If someone came up with a fiber non see through protection at a price point of around 50.00 as opposed to the 140.000 ridiculous price gouge I hope they would overtake this market and frankly put the rip off artists who are producing this cover some serious and real competition. ... show more

    • Way to Expensive, but a Necessary Evil
This piece of plastic is literally 30% the price I paid for the equipment it's protecting. That's like constructing a $100,000 fence around my house. It's ridiculous, but obviously I chose to spend the money. Once a competitor decides to mold some plastic and sell for half the price, I'm done with Decksaver forever. .....And I'm also curious if they'd sell 3x more covers if they stopped excessively overcharging. ...oh well, I need to move on. ... show more

    • Perfect fit, excellent fit/finish, only complaint is the cost.
Great product, built solidly and the cover fits my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2 PERFECTLY. I read somewhere that a person was upset that their cover didn’t ‘snap on’ at all. They stated that it didn’t really fit. Well, mine is absolutely PERFECT. It slips onto the keyboard with ease and although it DOESN’T quite SNAP ON it fits snugly and the ONLY reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because $140 is WAY too much money for this thing. YES I love it and YES I definitely spent the money at my OWN discretion, however, I do feel like it should probably cost more like $75 ... show more

    • Greatest thing to buy for your gear.
If they make one of these for a piece of gear you have then you should absolutely invest in it. I have been using decksaver for years. Absolutely the best quality and protection. I have one for my Maschine MK3, My Traktor S4, and this Komplete Kontrol. All look new and always clean and ready to go.
