Generally I've avoided the European clog-style slippers, as there's something off-putting about the exposed heel aspect, but from a practical standpoint, they just make a lot of sense. I've had several slippers in the past where the heels get crushed over time due to me being too lazy to slip them on as intended. So now I've decided to give these Dearfoams a try, and glad I did. First, I found their sizing guide to be accurate for me. I also like how there's a little bit of heel support in the back, and when I slip these guys on, that part stays in place nicely. So far, they are quite comfortable and my feet are not getting too warm. I tend to only wear slippers like this in the morning (or late night trips to the bathroom), so I'm not the type who shuffles around the house in them all day, doing errands and such anyway. Overall design is very good as well. The price point is very fair, and I hope these will last a while. Most slippers are toast in about a year; I'm hoping to get more mileage out of these though. ... show more

I purchased these for my son this past Xmas who is one picky kid, well to my surprise and his,he shockingly says "these actually are comfortable". Of course that made me happy to hear and he's right. This is a very comfortable slipper that can be worn inside or out,but I don't want the dirt from outside on my floors!! But if you do the soles are made well and seems they will hold up awhile. My son and I highly recommend these slippers, they're great quality craftsmanship the material is like wool. Soles are well made, and they are accurate in sizing too.     • back of heal is not supportive.

The back of the heal when received looked like someone stomped on it aggressively. Because of this they don't fit as they should and kind of flop around as if they were flip flops, they might as well not have a heal. Otherwise, super comfy . . . I'm not sure but they might also make my feet more than a normal shoe. . .. probably because of how warm and comfy my feet are :D ... show more

    • A decent slipper for the price

This was just a so so slipper, nothing fancy or top of the line. It seems to be well made and it's very comfortable... the only thing I would say is it is not wide. I ordered a size 11 for my brother and it reminded me of a canoe, long and thin. My brother says they're comfortable and he's happy with them. They also have a really nice sole for outdoor wear. You can easily walk to the mailbox in the rain or empty your garbage or in some cases wear them to the store. The sole isn't just flat, it comes up around the sides just enough to keep water from getting the slipper wet if it's wet outside. Don't know how long these slippers will last, they don't seem to be extremely durable...but I would bet they'll probably last for at least a year and for the money that's a pretty good deal. My brother normally wears a size 9 to 9 1/2 which would have been a medium in this slipper, but I ordered a large which was a 10 to 11 because he is wearing a bulky bandage on one foot from surgery. My brother said both slippers fit perfectly... so maybe the slippers run a bit small. ... show more

These slippers are worth every penny. They have a nice rubber sole under a high quality suede top and side construction. The inserts are of high quality and has a great feel. I really like the “clog” design but what’s set these apart is the height which allows for easy on and off while also being high enough to prevent your heel from sliding out.     • Wonky sizing

I've ordered a few different pairs of this brand of slippers. I wear a size 9 1/2 in just about any footwear. The sizing for these is as such ..... 9/10 - 11/12 and so on. So I've ordered a 9/10 thinking it would be perfect. But it's was just a hair too small. So I ordered an 11/12. And they are too big. So, I'm not sure why the sizing is the way that it is but it doesn't work for me. I will say that they are very warm and comfortable. The memory foam is awesome!     • Comfortable but not long lasting

My son only wears these indoors. The first pair lasted a year and then wasn’t as comfortable and looked worn. Second pair split at the seam after about 1 month but the company replaced them easily and quickly. It looked like a manufacturing defect.
