Slippers fit very snug and narrow for me, and I ordered the same size as always. If you have a wide foot, perhaps reconsider. Also, I didn't realize the base had a massage element to stimulate the bottom of your feet as you walk. I personally found that annoying, but my bad, maybe that's in product description and I didn't notice. The fit fir me is a perfect "goldilocks", unlike other brands where the loop is too large, foot bed shape etc. Not sure how well this would hold up at the beach though which was the original reason for my purchase but I have been using it in the house and love it.
