DC have always been good shoes. I usually get the standard ankle height DC, but decided to try these and wasn't disappointed. They still have the thick padding inside just like the regular. They are snug though. Normally I buy a half size down because my feet are big but narrow. With these I would order my exact size next time. ... show more

This is my first pair of DC brand shoes so I wasn't sure what to expect. I bought them true to size & on the first day I wore them, my right foot felt a bit too tight near the pinky toe but by the next day it was much more comfortable. I've since then, tried using different thickness of socks to see how it'd feel and even with my thickest wool socks I have a good amount of room in them so it doesn't feel like the toes are scrunched up in there or rubbing against the sides. So far I'd say I'm happy with this pair of sneakers. I wear them around all day and haven't felt any discomfort since the first day's experience and that's been about 6 days now. I was skeptical ordering shoes without trying on first, my son is in middle school and growing so without him trying on i was relying on feedback! He fits usually an 8-9 and a wider flat foot size depending on the shoe sometimes it can be way too big or too small, we ordered a size 9 and they are perfect!
