Excellent picture quality, design and features. Could have been a bit smaller, but the handy, fabric covered and well-padded carrying case makes that somewhat irrelevant, so it can easily travel with the family on vacations. The projector is easy to set up and use in a few minutes from unpacking; the instruction manual is clear and easy to follow. I was able to test it with a Roku and my laptop, so one can play movies, show photographs (my favorite part) and access many types of storage media: USB sticks, SD cards, computers, etc. I have wanted to get one of these for years: have thousands of stored slides that I plan to scan and convert to jpg images that I can finally share with family and friends. Watching movies with this not high on my priorities, for now: the picture and sound are clear and loud enough for use indoors, but I may explore adding an external speaker or connecting to my stereo system with the built-in audio output if I decide to watch movies. The fan could have been a bit quieter, but it isn't too noticable after a few minutes. Picture quality is really good: vertical distortion (trapezoidal image projection) can be corrected and brighness can be adjusted to the ambient lighting conditions for daytime (indoor) viewing or for a darker environment. I'm projecting on my living-room wall for now ~ which isn't the best way to see a picture, but I'm encouraged to go dig out the roll-up screen I have had stored away for years in the basement since I stopped using my slide projector, and set it up again. While there's no autofocus, once you set yourself up do you really need that ? Another great feature is that it can be used with a tripod, or flipped over and mounted from the ceiling for a real "home-theater" feel. The compact remote will be extremely useful in that situation. Bought this projector because as a broke college student, I cannot afford a tv right now so this is the next best thing for me. I was super impressed upon receiving this and opening this package! The projector is small but is great quality. All accessories came in perfect condition and even the carrying case feels expensive! I’m looking forward to using this in my apartment with my housemates! I also had no problems with delivery whatsoever (: Update 5/13/2021: I took off two stars after using it a couple times because I did run into some issues with this projector. 1) Adjusting the focus takes a little more work than other projectors because it’s either gonna be blurry at the top or bottom no matter how it’s adjusted. 2) the top of the projected screen is obviously slanted and uneven despite being placed on a flat surface. I talked to a customer service representative about this issue and the advice they gave were unhelpful because I already tried them so they sent me a replacement because they thought it got damaged in transit, however, with the replacement my problems were still the same. I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this problem or if other people are also experiencing the same issues. This is an ok projector, but I’m sure there are probably better other ones that are clearer and not slanted. ***Side note: Don’t bother redeeming that free gift. I tried to in March and still haven’t gotten it yet. I even brought it up while talking to the representative and they acknowledged it, but gave no updates about it. The media could not be loaded. Finding fun and new things to do during a pandemic has proven to be a challenge. I was looking for a small budget friendly projector to start up a family movie night tradition. This projector caught my eye and surprisingly performs very well! The built in speaker is pretty decent in sound quality, with the option to hook up your own additional speaker(s). The focus adjustment is very easy to maneuver and dial in quickly. Something I found through using the projector is that you have to retract the lens back to its original position to fit the lens cap protector back on after use. The first time I tested out the projector was indoors on a blank wall in the living room. Even with it still being daylight out, the picture was quite visible and clear. I decided to give our cats a little fun time of their own with some visual cat activity videos. After their fun I switched over to watching a few performance car videos. I ended up using a spare google chromecast connected to the projector to view the videos. I haven’t tried any other method yet as this is what I will likely be using going onward. The remote, carrying case and additional wires are all very thoughtful and convenient as well. For thanksgiving I plan to have a backyard movie viewing and small bon fire.     • Great picture quality, good audio, and extremely portable!
Just opened it today, I was pleasantly surprised by how clear the picture and audio quality are. I live in a house that has really skinny stairs and we were unable to find a tv and stand that would fit down them that was big enough (I have four roommates so a small tv wouldn't cut it). I had the idea of getting myself a projector a while ago and decided it was the prefect opportunity to test one out downstairs. I also like that the product is portable, as a college student I have lots of friend get togethers and I feel that now we can watch shows and movies in more locations -I cant wait to test it outside sometime this summer. Only notable downside is that the projector fan is a bit loud but its easy to ignore if you turn up the audio volume or sit farther away from the projector. As a film-lover I am exited! ... show more
