    • Short lifespan.
These shift motors work well when new. The have a life span about 2 days after the warranty ends. The oem shift motor lasted 25 years. These last maybe 2 at best.

I was having shifter problems on my Honda TRX 450ES. I changed the engine oil, and installed a new shift angle sensor and shift motor. ATV is shifts dependably now. The shift motor appears to be equal quality to the OEM Honda part.
