Let me start by saying outright that I am NOT a robe guy. I bought this one for one purpose - getting out of a heated pool on a cool day is BRUTALLY COLD!! Ok, so I got this robe. First, it is unbelievably plush. I mean thick and soft. Second, it is huge. I mean huge. It covers me completely and that is a good thing! Third, it is WARM, and the hood is just awesome. Ive never owned a robe, but i bought a semi cheap robe for an upcoming Hot Springs trip since this one wasnt supposed to arrive in time. Fortunately it did and WOW what a quality and comfort difference between this robe and the cheapy one. I find myself wanting to wear it all the time. Its cozy and comfy.
