It hasn't happened in a while but sometimes, we have an internet outage. The last time, it was for 30+ hours & it started just when we were about to pay bills & other very important work requiring internet-extremely time sensitive. If / when that happens again, we will use this to stay on ahead of any need requiring immediate action. I am certain this will cover our needs because. usually, internet outages, however severe, are limited to one provider, not several or all of them at once. I got the eSIM version and it is a true eSIM (I bought an eSIM from another brand and received a physical SIM card, which didn't work for me). So far, it seems to work just fine. There are lots of eSIM apps that offer rechargable eSIMs for under $1.50/GB, so this one is nearly double that.

Activated it in a phone as directed, which worked but was EXTREMELY slow data and only connected to T-Mobile. It never tried to connect to Verizon or AT&T. I put it in another device and T-Mobile wouldn't even connect, and again no Verizon or AT&T. All of these carriers have service where I am. Do not waste your money. ... show more

The SIM said I still had data remaining, but for some reason, it did not let me connect to the internet anymore.
