When I opened the box, and took the mixer out, it was very lightweight and did not seem sturdy to me. Well I shall put it to work. I mixed a recipe for one loaf of bread. Wow, I was amazed how well it worked the dough without straining or getting hot. Later I used it to make a whipped cream frosting. Yes it was a little loud, but I liked you can adjust the bowl where the beaters are able to do a great job. I have used the mixer also to make mashed potatoes, cake mixes, cookie doughs and other types of frosting. My skeptism went away. It is a machine to do lightweight jobs. Small enough to put anywhere. I am a seasoned cook andsecond time around newlywed and I have an Oster Kitchen Center set at my home in Tennessee that functions as a stand mixer, blender, grinder, food processor and has attachments to roll out pasta, grind meat, make ice cream, and crush ice. I now am living on Palm Coast with a new husband in “his” home, which is great except he does not cook and the kitchen was equipped with the basics only. Since there are just the two of us, I didn’t feel the need to duplicate what I had in now “our” second home, so one of the small appliances I chose to add was this smaller stand mixer and it’s perfect, does every mixing, baking prep, and whipping chore I have thrown at it! I highly recommend this for the novice cook with limited space for small appliances and for those who like to go camping — this baby is the perfect size to take with us in our camper for long and short road trips!< ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The mixer came as described. The bottom has suction cups so if you bump into it, it’s set in place and won’t move until you lift it. Without reading the instructions the bottoms and images printed on the machine is self explanatory. The bottom to lift the mixer does seem to have a defect. Sometimes when I press the button to bring it back down into the bowl it doesn’t move and I have to press the button again. So far this hasn’t been real breaker. The mixer spins insanely fast so if you are looking for a mixer that has a slow setting this is NOT IT. The videos non here does not do justice on how fast it’s really spinning. You will literally smell the heat coming from the mixer 10 seconds into a mix while it’s on setting 1. It’s fine for what I need it for but I can’t imagine that it won’t burn out from the amount of power being used. (If this happens I will update this review) It mixes thoroughly no chunks. The butters in my video are mango kokum and shea. I was afraid to add cocoa because of how hard it is but with how fast this mixer goes, cocoa butter wouldn’t stand a chance. ... show more

Shipping time and everything included: This mixer arrived in 5 days. It came with two dough mixer attachments and two whisk attachments and one stainless steel bowl. Looks: The color of the mixer which is why I bought it is beautiful. The chromish strip at the top and through makes it look good but also at the same time makes it looks like horrible quality. Attachments removal: The mixer has a big eject button at the top to remove the attachments with ease. Bend the top back: There is a button on the right of the device which you hold down to bend the top up as shown in the second stock pic. The speeds presets: There are 6 speeds on the top right where it seems most of the time that 4 itself is high enough. I have not once gotten into a situation where the attachments had stopped and/or jammed. They were always spinning when set to, no matter how sticky the substance. Bottom lever: There is also a lever at the bottom front of the mixer where you pull left and right moving the bottom enough to find the perfect rotation of the bowl. If the bowl for some reason does not spin you just move the lever around and it should work. It also helps when there is something that was not mixed at one side of the bowl. To move the lever you hold it down and slide to as far as you want to move the bowl. Then you stop pushing it down and slightly move it left and right until it locks into place. It's very easy and no explanation was required to be honest. Suction cups and wire length: The length of the wire is about three feet long. There are five suction cups at the bottom which as soon as put down, allow the mixer to be in place making it hard to accidentally knock down. This has been useful in many occasions. The bowl placement: When placing the bowl onto the mixer you simple put it on the black surface and simply spin the bowl to the left while holding the black surface in place. Though one problem I have noticed with this is how easily it removes. I feel that it might spin off when it is set on a high preset speed but I have not once actually experienced it. I have used it on high settings and stopped it to see if the bowl had come loose but it stayed rotated far to the left to be considered locked. It seems safe and doesn't seem like it will spin off but it looks, just by the eyes, like it is loose which just turns out to be how it looks. It's not actually loose. My thoughts: Personally I felt it is worth it for the price this mixer is at right now. The speed settings make it well worth it. The slider seems to work fine and the best part is that it isn't some cheap mixer that gets stuck when mixing some hard substance. Definitely worth it for its price. ... show more

I like this little mixer, it’s cute and small, exactly what I was looking for. I was little disappointed in the fact that I felt like my handmixer did a better job with most things. I will end up keeping it because it’s cute but I would have preferred a sturdier one. It’s definitely not good for any kind of large quantity biking. ... show more

I ordered mixer as a backup. When I thought my old one was not working properly I pulled new one out 3 days ago to make a cake but mixing bowl won’t unlock from base. Very disappointed that return window was closed. I can’t use this and now I’m out the money and mixer.
