Description

This plastic space shuttle is a part of the NASA space adventure Series and is approximately 9.5 inches x 7.5 inches. It is a fully functioning space shuttle with lights, sounds, and rolling wheels. Payload bay doors and canopy opens and closes allowing the Figurine to be placed inside the pilot seat or on the functioning mechanical arm inside the spaceship. Two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries are included. Recommended for children ages 3+.

I got this toy for my 2.5 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loves rocket ships and has been happily playing with it and showing it to anyone who will pay him attention. He runs around with it pretending it’s flying through the air or blasting off. The lights and sounds add to his glee over the toy as does the astronaut guy that comes with it. As others have mentioned, the arm that the astronaut can connect to, seems like it may break unless the child is playing with it carefully. The canopy and front window that opens stick and are difficult to open for a small child, but that works to your advantage, they can’t play with the arm without your help. My son did drop it from about 3 feet onto our wood floor and the front window popped off, but snapped back on without damage. Very cute with the lights and sounds. But as soon as my 3 year old grandson extended the arm attachment for a moonwalk, it snapped off. Had to call Amazon for a replacement.
