  • Honesty Review
Color: Breathable Pro Size: X-Large
I like the product. It’s reasonably priced, overall I think they worked good. No real complaints. I do believe more pockets would be nice

  • Unexpectedly good
Color: Breathable Basic Size: Small
For context, this is coming from someone who is replacing her $200 Simm’s waders. I had been wearing my Simms for 5 months when they started to leak. I wear them for 40 hours a week, and I bushwhack through all kinds of vegetation, so I probably just abused them too much. They were my first waders so I don’t know if that’s the general durability for waders. My seasonal job ends in November, so I needed a new pair just for mid-September through November. I bought these because they were cheap and I only needed them to hold up for 6 weeks. I had been wading around with wet legs for weeks, so anything that kept me partially dry was going to be amazing. I’m writing this on 10/7. These have held up since I started wearing them on 9/22. That’s honestly more than I expected given the price and the amount of abuse I put them through. I do miss the luxury of the hand warming pocket of my Simms. The zipped pocket on this pair seems smaller, but possible more waterproof. What I am most impressed about is that the shoe hooks for the gravel guards have stayed intact. On my Simms, they lasted two days. These are holding on great. I am a shoe size 8, 5’4”, 140 lb woman. I bought the smalls. The foot is snug but I’d take that over having too much material. The torso doesn’t seem quite long enough, causing a wedgie, but the elastic of the straps is pretty forgiving (borderline too stretchy). I am so happy with these. I am skeptical that they’ll last me long, but for the price, I am very pleased. ... show more

  • Fit is tight; otherwise good waders
Color: Breathable Pro Size: X-Large
Get the next size up from whatever size wader you normally wear if you’re a bigger built person. For $85 these are definitely surprisingly durable (at least seem that way through first use). I wear XL in all other wader brands (6’, 250lb - “athletic dad bod”). The fit in the feet and legs are actually perfect, but the dad belly and my broad upper half barely fit into the top half with only a hoodie on, it’s going to be real tight with a coat on but I’ll make it work. I would order XXL if doing it again, just to get the extra chest space, and deal with the extra foot/leg material. Overall, I’m ok with them. Have owned several hundred dollar pairs of simms, redington, etc and none hold up longer than a season/aren’t what they were 10 years ago and longer. Figured if the expensive ones are made cheap anyway, might as well just try these cheap ones out and they can’t be any worse. We’ll see how long they hold up. ... show more

  • Great product
Color: Camo Size: X-Large
This product is exactly as described. They are designed for heftier people to get the right stocking size I ended up with an xl for the size 11.5 foot. I don't, mind the extra room due to my need to use extra layers come winter. It allows me to keep my nice warm clothing nice and dry. In warmer weather it is a massive change from the old neoprene waders I had been using the past 10 years, finally not feeling on the verge of heat stroke by the time I get to my hunting spot and set all the decoys out. They help me stay light on my feet and don't hinder my movement when I need to change positions. They are nice and light, the pocket is a nice addition it keeps my keys safe and accessible. The material doesn't collect mud or hold onto water, I am thrilled with less mess in my car. The built in boot covers are a really nice feature boots no longer full of mud sand or gravel. ... show more

  • Poor size options; Leaked on Day 1
Color: Breathable Pro Size: Large
These showed up on my recommended items a few weeks ago. I am an avid fly fisherman and get out 50+ times a year. Always nice to have an extra pair of waders for friends or in case of leaks on my main pair, and the price was great so I decided to pick them up. My first issue is with the sizing. I am basically as "medium" as they come. 5'9", 160 lbs, size 10.5 foot. None of the size options fit my extremely average build. Reading through the size chart (tip for seller: In the US we measure clothing in inches only. Converting from feet and inches to just inches is mildly annoying) puts me in a medium size, except the foot size is at best a size and a half too small. I looked at the large-short option which somehow has a longer inseam than the large, and has a "hipline" of 58"! I knew I'd be swimming in those, so ended up going with the large. As expected from the measurements, they are very wide. I could easily gain 100 lbs and still fit into these waders. So even though the waders were nearing circus tent status, I figured I'd give them a whirl in the river this morning. I snuck out of the house for an "early meeting" and headed out to the river. Waders went on easy enough, gravel guards were a little snug around my Simms boots, but overall worked well so I went and got in the water. The first thing I noticed was the water was a little colder than it has been in my other waders this week. In the summer I typically wear shorts under my waders so this is somewhat expected. Water temp was 54°. The second thing I noticed is the fish were not biting as frequently as they normally do. Not sure if that can be blamed on the waders though. Fished for about an hour, landed three rainbows. Nothing to write home about. Then I got out of the river and the trouble started. As soon as I stepped out I looked down and noticed the waders were bulging with water from the knee down. I slowly trudged back to my car and peeled them off, leaving a nice little pond in the parking space. From where I was wet it seems like they waders leaked at the top of the reinforced section (ironic right?). The worst part was my shorts were soaked. I had to go home, fishing rod in hand, and change clothes before I could head to the actual office. Caught red handed by the wife thanks to these waders. Overall you get what you pay for. Had these not leaked right out of the gate I probably could have gotten over the weird sizing issues, but quality issues from the get-go = quick return. ... show more

  • Inexpensive but not durable.
Color: Camo Size: Medium
For what it was worth, these were great and what I expected for the price. I fish anywhere from 10-15 times a month. 6 months later though both my feet are full of water.
