I imagined they would be like pantyhose, they’re more like actual tights. (Duh lol). I did have some sensory issues with the seam at the toe, but you can adjust it with some effort. The seam sits at the edge of the toe. Also, the waist band was a little tight (so get your correct size) but it didn’t roll down! Hourglass figure for reference. They held up really well for an entire day, I washed them and they are still holding up well. Don’t have pics cause I don’t want to get up but in the pics I listed I am wearing the tights (with fishnets over them) they looked amazing, natural, and were much easier to take on and off than something like fishnets. Perfect for cosplay/performance. Diffused the look of marks or small bruises on my legs and smooths everything out visually. Not a shaping tight, but great for making your legs look flawless. The only seam on these tights is up the front torso, so if you are wearing these under a leotard you won't show any seams or lines like some tights do around the upper thigh. These tights (they are definitely tights, not nylons) are quite thick, but have a wonderful sheen to them and the color was as expected. The sizing is slightly larger than I thought, so my suggestion to anyone looking to purchase would be to size a bit down if possible. Fit is nice, toe area is not reinforced on the bottom but since they are thick material this isn’t really an issue for me. If you need the reinforced bottom or toe for actual dance or gymnastics routines, I would keep looking, but for every day wear these are gorgeous! I am reviewing the Danskin Sheer Stockings. I bought these for my mother who had varicose vein issues and spider veins on her legs. She wanted so much to be able to look good wearing dresses. She was self conscious about her legs. These worked out perfect. Do not be mislead regarding the term Sheer. These are not like the term Sheer in Regular pantyhose. These are Sheer according to Leotard wear in performers garments. While they are Sheer, they are not totally see through. They are more like support hose. They have nice coverage, support the legs and have a natural look to them. There are a few types - some give your legs a shiny look, some do not. These are somewhere in between.
