  • Glad I went this way
Since purchasing this Dapper DO3 I have come to own the M1 Maverick Rail wallet and the A10 Single Pocket wallet. I give all three 5 stars but definitely have a favorite for my uses---first, I have daily need for 5 cards max and carry some cash (usually 2-4 bills) so let me give you quick thoughts on each: DO3; Pros---price is right; small and light; rail system is great; elastic band for cash and receipts; DTEX is nice and pockets work ok. Cons---ID pocket is not needed by me, band is stretching, DTEX loosens at fold so wallet becomes trapezoid in pocket.--not long-term solution M1 Maverick Rail; Pros---got a good price at summer sale; built to last; slide rail is great again; silicon band for cash that is big improvement over DO3; back side is NOT slide rail but works for storing cards not used that often. Cons--a bit heavy (5 oz) and it is wide; overall not something I like to carry in a pocket all day but keeps its shape and might last an ice age or two. A10 Single Pocket; Pros---built to last; 2 slide rails (front and back)!!, storage pocket for cash inside the rails; light and narrow--same size as DO3 actually; DTEX front cover/pocket; it can adapt to a bunch of options. Cons--pricey but worth it to me; no cash strap but storage pocket works as well; front rail only handles one card or the DTEX pocket (but can be a Pro as you can change out the pocket if you want) All in all, the A10 is best for me despite the price. I get a two rail system (although the front rail is either DTEX pocket or card) and the currency storage cavity works better (and looks better) than cash on a silicon strap. It is basically the same size as the smaller DO3 and much lighter/narrower than the M1----and it's made of aluminum that will last me a long time. Hope this helps you decide. ... show more

  • The Best Minimalist Wallet
Color: Jet Black/Satin Silver
I’ve been carrying my D03 DTEX material wallet for over four years now, and I can confidently say it’s my favorite wallet hands down. I recently give the black leather one a try and I couldn’t be more pleased. I mix the black rail on the DTEX one with the black leather cover and for now on this is the way for me. Looks super elegant / durable / lightweight / slim / easy to access / high quality and the best part… It fits my 14 cards without any issues. No jokes! ... show more

  • Pretty good if you have at least 4 cards
I got the DTEX with AirTag holder. It’s been pretty good so far, seems to be made from quality materials. I like the look of it, and that it can handle my 8 cards and ID. I like that it comes with a band to put an AirTag in, and the elastic strip is good for keeping it closed if you want. A few cons though. A standard wallet bi-fold is what I used to use, and it was good for holding cash, this one is not so much, you can fold up your bills and put them in a card slot or rely on the elastic band or AirTag band to hold the folded bills. I wouldn’t put more than 6 or 7 US bills inside. So if you are someone that needs to carry around a lot of cash, use big bills to save space, it’s not good for anyone that has to carry around a bunch of singles (you know who you are). The see-through slot is pretty small so you can’t open it to show ID since the rim covers a good portion of the ID, I usually take mine out anyway if I need to present it for anything. The metal card holder is okay if you have four cards, any less and the cards can slip out if the wallet is open, they’re still a bit loose with with 4 cards but if you’re not twirling your wallet around at a rave you should be good to go. Mine also came with a 550 cord braided lanyard about 4-5” in length that is kind of pointless to me. It can be attached to the wallet but just acts like a ponytail that hangs off the wallet since the other side doesn’t have a clip/latch or anything to clip it to your pants or something. The AirTag band is a nice addition and can be removed, however I wish it was a bit more form-fitting to the AirTag, it’s fine if you don’t have the band on the wallet, but when you put it on it’s stretched a tiny bit and so the AirTag mold is slightly elongated. Still, this beats my old leather one so far. It’s nice and compact. If you have 12 cards you could fit all of them, however it would be very hard to remove them. In the video they show 4 cards in each slot. I can barely fit 2 in most (with the exception on the metal card holder, I fit 4 and a paper insurance card and that’s as much as it can hold). I would recommend this for anyone that primarily uses cards and has between 4 - 8 cards + ID that they need to carry around. ... show more

  • Fantastic after 2 years
Color: Lite - Satin Silver
Bought in Aug 2022.. back when it was only 40 bucks. No complaints.. durable, easy to use, holds everything I need. Still has original rubber money strap.. it hasn’t worn or stretched out at all.. even after carrying a big wad of cash for a while. Due to the design, you have to carry at least 3 bills at a time.. otherwise they fall out. Not a problem though. Strap perfectly covers sensitive info on my ID.. which is nice. Also gets lots of compliments. Great wallet but $70 for a piece of aluminum and a a glorified rubber band seems a bit excessive. IMO still better (and cooler) than buying a Ridge. ... show more

  • Best minimalist wallet I can find
Decided to finally take the plunge to a minimalist wallet and this one is great overall. I like the front cards on the inside easily displayed and they slide out very easily. Wallet is very well built. My only complaint is that the band inside designed to hold more cards or money is a cheaper elastic band that will most likely wear out over time. A more durable band on future models would help. The hard part with the slider for credit cards only holds 4 cards, so that's a bit of a bummer but not a dealbreaker. Fits much better in my pocket than my old Bifold, and looks a lot nicer as well. I'd buy another in the future. ... show more
